Best time to go with no crowds or lines is during the pandemic!

During the pandemic is the best time ever to do this tour! It was just us in the van and on the tour for the day. There are usually 1 to 2 hour waits with the Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf but there was absolutely no line and no wait and there were very few people there which made social distancing very easy and taking pictures. Also our tour guide Vitória was fantastic and she spoke great english which is nice since my wife and children only speak english and her company was quite enjoyable. I highly recommend this over any other options!

Can’t say enough great things about this tour. The driver was both professional and hilarious. Vincent was an excellent tour guide. He was great and educating us on all the history and gave us plenty of time to soak everything in. I had high expectations and these guys exceeded them. Highly recommended!!!

I had expectations and Vincent exceeded them. Eventhough it said small group tour, I didnt realize it was actually a private tour with just my friend and I. The driver was both professional and hilarious. Vincent did a great job educating us about the history and giving us plenty of time to soak in the amazing views. Great value for what we paid and I highly recommend this tour to anybody!

A cloudy day in Rio
Max_W
, Dec 2020
Our tour was on a cloudy day during the pandemic. Temperatures were taken and masks were required at all locations. Additionally, the van we took was driven with all windows open in order to aid in ventilation. There were only 3 of us on the tour (one English speaker and the other two Portuguese). Our tour guide, Kathy, was great. She conducted the tour in dual languages and made it special for all of us. As I was a solo traveler, she offered and was happy to take photos for me. I only give the tour 4 stars as it was cloudy at both Sugar Load and Christ the Redeemer so we didn’t really get the full experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Excellent trip to iconic sights

This was an excellent tour, a great start to our holiday in South America. The mini bus, with our guide Victoria, arrived promptly at our hotel at 7.30 am. During the drive to our first stop, Christ the Redeemer, our guide provided interesting facts about Rio, Brazil and the places we were visiting. We arrived early at the Statue and so it was not crowded and we were able to enjoy around an hour wandering around, admiring the statue and the wonderful scenery. The trip to Sugar Loaf Mountain was again made interesting by our guide providing information. We needed to buy our own tickets for the cable car at Sugar Loaf mountain, but this enabled us to take advantage of the over 65 rate! Again we had arrived early so there were no queues and we could really enjoy our visit and make the most of time there. We arrived back at our hotel around 1.00 pm, so we had plenty of time to explore independently in the afternoon An excellent trip, very well organised by the local company, we would certainly recommend it. If you are limited in time, this is an ideal way to see two iconic sights.
