A trip highlight !

An absolute must-do. Our guide was incredibly friendly and informative. We stopped at breathtaking places all along the southern coast before embarking on an exhilarating glacier hike where we were able to drink pristine water straight from the glacier. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland. 10/10!

Sijji is the best professional tour guide ever especially when it comes to glacier climbing. Without him, I won’t make it.

Glacier walk exceeded expectations

Our tour guide, Mike, was wonderful. We had stops at 5 waterfalls and the black sand beach. The highlight was definitely the glacier walk. Just viewing the glacier was impressive, but actually hiking up through the crevasses to the surface of the glacier was an exciting adventure. It is not for the timid, the hike is strenuous. Mike gives good instruction and looked after the group.

Unforgettable Glacial Hike

Thales was a brilliant tour guide! We saw the waterfalls in the morning, got amazing photos! But after a stop at a Brewery for lunch, we went to the Black Sand Beach and the Glacier hike. The sand and ocean are amazing. The Glacier hike, though, was the highlight of the trip. We had trouble with a person drunk and refusing to wear the gear and Thales handled it with grace. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity with Sunshine and he made sure young and old did the hike well!

Mic the tour guide was great. Plenty stops for toilet and food. Waterfalls awesome and the walk on glacier was an experience not to miss. Loved the black sand beach very impressed. He also timed the walked behind the Waterfall for the sunset.

Unexpected

Glaciers are not how I pictured them. The striations, basalt, and blue ice were fascinating! Glaciers are so NOT flat! The hills, valleys, fissures and undulations were totally unexpected! Superb hike and trip! Mike was a phenomenal guide!

Julian was a great guide! Pick up was prompt. He had interesting facts along the way. Played some great Icelandic music also. The glacier walk/hike was amazing! Wished I’d used the bathroom first! We were gone for quite awhile.
