Amazing!! Beautiful views.. Over 100 horses. My daughter and I loved the experience. We rode the horses passed many beautiful snow covered mountains.

Absolutely wonderful horse back riding experience! We have very little experience riding horses, but we felt so comfortable the entire time. This is a great family run farm that have truly amazing horses. They are very well trained and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this beautiful experience!

This was the best tour according to my daughter (age 20) and her best friend. I enjoyed it too. The family is beyond friendly and make you feel right at home. They had coffee and sweet bread for everyone when we returned from the ride. The horses are so nice. You can go right into the stable and pet them. The ride is breathtaking and enjoyable

This was certainly a highlight of the trip. The ranch owner and wranglers were fantastic and warm. The horses were gentle and certainly knew their way around the terrain. This was also a great way to take a break from the city and see some beautiful country.

The pick-up and drop off were seamless with myself and my 3 girlfriends and communication via Viator was great. When you arrive, you will be fitted with a helmet and have the choice to wear rainwear or not. They suggest leaving your backpack since it gets annoying up and down. I almost took mine and I’m so glad that I left it behind. I’m glad that I wore gloves. There is no hump to hold on to that I’m use to. They don’t use boxes to get up on the horses so as not to scare the horses. Be prepared for that. I couldn’t get up and over and one person had to push me up and over. The weight limit is 240 lbs. You stop half way and get off so the horses can rest. If you are at all afraid of riding or not being in control, this isn’t for you. I personally was terrified for 2 hours straight and couldn’t enjoy the ride due to my fear. The people running it are ahead and behind so to be available for you and lead the pack. I didn’t realize until late in the game that when my horse picked up pace to catch up, to slow down you say WOAH and pull up on the reigns, but as he was going so fast, I apparently was kicking in his sides which means go faster. One of the instructors noticed this and told me so it important to keep your heels UP! My horse preferred to keep in the middle so he would pass other horses to do so and gallop to get ahead. You will bounce like you have never bounced before. I suggest wearing a sports bra and a bra and even then…lol. When you get back, they have coffee and tea at their little bar before heading back to drop people off. There is also a restroom with a couple of stalls there. There is a Game of Thrones horse which you may see. The staff is very sweet and does ask how comfortable you are before giving you a horse. I wish the tour was more like 45min -1 hour as 2 hours is a long time. I would not suggest kids for this activity.

So much fun and you get to see the countryside up close and personal. If you're able, definitely opt to experience the Icelandic horse's special gait. You'll never have a smoother ride.

Not the best for beginners

The weather was perfect and the ride and view was in fact amazing unfortunately I was in a very small group with people were advanced riders and I never rode a horse before. I was not assisted much and was kind of left on my own. I had to ride exactly how the advanced riders rode (since we were in a small group) which is scary for a first timer because when one horse runs, they all do. They gave me a horse that was “calm and mellow” but he didn’t listen at all and wanted to run. Overall I did the best I couldn’t because I did not want to hold up the other riders....just be aware!
