7-Hour Glacier Hike and Ice Climbing Experience in Skaftafell National Park

• Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
• We recommend that you bring:
• Waterproof jacket and pants (trousers) (Available for rent directly from the operator for a small fee at own expense)
• Hiking boots (Available for rent, 1000 ISK own expense. We advise against running shoes or any type of shoes that come up below the ankle bone as the straps on the crampons can get a bit painful during the walk)
• Light sweater, wool or fleece
• Light synthetic or quick dry pants (Try and stay clear of jeans on the longer trips as they get wet & cold quick and dry slowly)
• Thin Gloves
• Hat
• Small Backpack (Can be handy for carrying your camera, rain gear etc.)
• Sunglasses and sun protection (It can get quite bright on the ice with the reflection from the sun)
• Food and drinks (Lunch is unfortunately not provided so it recommended that you bring a packed lunch. From June - September there is plenty of fresh water on the glacier so feel free to bring a bottle with you to refill on the glacier)
• Camera
