Our Cultural Village Tour with Buffet Dinner was a not to be missed experience for visitors to Rarotonga. The ' Village ' tour was very interesting with lots of history of the Maori people and the way of life that was lived on the island. The dinner was very good with a wide variety of food. The show was terrific with the dancing and drumming. The show was very colourful with the history of the Maori interweaved in the show. Then we enjoyed a lovely buffet dessert. The dancers came out and mixed with the audience for some fun and a photo opportunity. After the show we were directed to our shuttle buses that brought us to Te Vara Nui Village. All in all a great experience. Kevin and Jenny

The cultural village tour before the show was very informative regarding the people of the cook islands. Lots of interesting artifacts and collections to see. We learned quite a bit of the history of the cook islands. The night show was wonderful. Our favorite part was the fire dancers. The food in the buffet was plentiful and good. The buffet included dishes that are native to the Cook Islands as well as other dishes.

The best Cultural event I have been to and the food was absolutely devine! We went for the full 5 hour experience and totally loved every minute of it. Unfortunately booking through Viator wasn't a good experience as they claim I booked using USD instead of NZ currency which I know I didn't, and therefore it cost me more because of the exchange rate and despite me raising this with them they refuse to reimburse the overcharged amount. So definitely I would highly recommend this Tour but I would NEVER book through Viator again.

We enjoyed this very much, particularly the Night Show and Dinner. The Village Tour was interesting but a little silly at times, plus a couple of the hosts were hard to understand. But it was educational. The show was fantastic. We had gone to a couple in Hawaii, but this was superior. The food was very good and plentiful. A bit over-priced, but worth it for a one time experience.
