Easy way to spend the day in Quebec

We made a last minute booking for a half day excursion around Quebec. We visited a chocolatier on Isle D'Orleans, Montmorency Falls, a Copper museum, and Ste. Anne's church. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours on a frigid day with single digit temperatures. The "chocolatier" was really just a candy store with artisan chocolates, and the copper museum was more store and less museum - with a bit of education about the art mixed in. Each stop was enjoyable appropriately timed. I did not find myself wishing for more, or feeling anxious to move on. Our guide, Allain, was delightful. He was kind, knowledgeable, provided amusing and informative anecdotes about the areas we visited and drove through, and kept the tour moving at a great pace.

It was a nice visit. We enjoyed it greatly. The Chocolate factory was a nice stop as it was very picturesque. I would skip the stop at the Copper art and would allow more time at the falls or the Basilica.

Beautiful countryside

The falls were beautiful. We left one person in the cable car line and one to buy the ticket, which worked out best for making the most of the 1 hour there. The copper museum was beautiful, but was rushed if you wanted to see all the displays. The chocolate shop was too overcrowded with 2 tour buses, but the best hot chocolate I've ever had. We didn't get to ride around the island because of a traffic accident blocking our way. The basilica was stunning.

Good trip with a very good driver/guide. Enjoyed all aspects of the trip including the tour round some of the farming ares. Very surprised to see strawberries growing in a huge field with no protection. Definitely not what we expected. The visit to the basilica was very good as well. Overall a good way to see the area and what it had to offer.

This trip was a great experience and Viator was excellent in programming all the stops and timing. The driver who was a one man show (driver and tour guide) was cautious and knowledgeable.

Montmorency Falls and Ste Anne Bueapre

The trip was good except for the time allowed at the falls. Too much time was allotted for the church and the guide did not mention that the gift shop closed at 5 pm. It was located in a separate building. We got to the church before 4 pm and it does not take an hour to visit. On the other hand the falls has be reached by a cable car that you have to wait for and did not even have an hour.

Jean Pierre was our driver/guide, a wealth of knowledge & a personable individual. I don't think he left anything out of the narrative as we made our way out of the city to the island, back over the bridge, to the waterfall, copper studio and to St. Anne's. Was a wonderful day.
