On this walking tour of the Canyon Sainte-Anne, enter a majestic environment of 1.2-billion-year-old slopes and rocks along the trails that crisscross the two steep banks of the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord. Hike through the forest and learn more about the park's history, geology, flora, fauna and other fascinating natural phenomena.

Along the way, follow groomed trails to a spectacular 74-meter-high waterfall, taller than Niagara Falls. Sway back and forth on one (or all) three suspension bridges, which are up to 60 meters high. Discover different facets of Canyon Sainte-Anne, step by step, from various observation points.

If desired, take advantage of the outdoor terrace to barbecue in the forest or picnic area after the tour.
Itinerary
Stop At:
Canyon Sainte-Anne
Enter a spectacular and a vertiginous canyon grooved by the force of the imposing Sainte-Anne falls, 74 meters high (21 meters higher than Niagara Falls) in the 1.2 billion-year-old rock of the Canadian Shield. Imagine a spectacular forest full of rainbows. The safe, groomed trails are easy to access, allowing young families and their children to wander in complete security along the north and south banks of the Canyon. During this visit, view a series of three suspension bridges, one of which is 60 meters above the gorge, making visitors feel 'suspensational' emotions. Discover the giant potholes, cascades of the 'little canyon,' or help the Petraminis get the rainbow’s colors back. Canyon Sainte-Anne is a great adventure, natural and grandiose.

Great place to spend a few hours, just half an hour drive from old Quebec City. You have to try the zip line, that’s if you’re not afraid of heights. I realized that I was lol. Staff was amazing. Definitely going back.

This is not a guided tour. This is just your ticket in to the park. This was the highlight of my trip to Quebec! It was very beautiful! Rent a car and make the short drive to check out the Canyon Sainte-Anne.

This tour kept us busy and fascinated from beginning to end. Our guide was informative, humorous, and superb. We would have appreciated having more time at the falls. One hour is not enough time to walk up and down the hundreds of stairs and around the top of the falls. Overall, this was great!
