How can I let you know where to pick me up?
We offer pick ups from most hotels. Let us know where you are staying in the 'Special Requirements' box in the Traveler Details section during checkout. Or you can let us know after booking by visiting 'Manage my Booking' and emailing us there.
Absolutely fabulous day, totally worth the money, couldn’t fault this trip at all. The guide excellent, food was brilliant on a beautiful island staff on both the speed boat and catamaran were brilliant. I would advise anyone going to Dominican Republic to book this trip.
Tour was great. I was one of the first few to be picked up and they picked me up at 6:15am. Most tourist were punctual so that helped as well. The island was Amazing. I didn’t like the food their so much but everything else was great.
The island of Saona is one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean, however the company you choose to travel with will make a great difference between having great experience to having average experience. Unfortunately Viator attracts companies with bad reputation and our trip reflected that. Pick up and drop off resulted in horrible experience of wasted time and nerves, we didn't get to the island until late afternoon, the island itself wasn't well taken care of, litter everywhere and lack of proper shower facilities, lunch at the island was average at best. Avoid Viator and travel with reputable companies that would make your time and money worth.
Probably would have scored 5 stars if the transfer to the main bus after pickup was better....told would be 5 minutes but we were left stood at the side of a main road for a good 30 minutes without update from pickup driver. Saona Island itself was stunning and the food & drink provided by the boat/island teams was OK but did not cater enough for varying dietary choices/needs of customers.
very good service on the way to island! only one thing need to work on is let customers know earlier what time they will be picking up from hotel(we called then from hotel, as i didnt receive any email regards time table) staff is so nice over there! drinks are as much as you can drink it lol, food in island was delicious! im kind of that person who is always having upset belly but not here! Island and all trip its really nice! Definetly enjoyed it!
Great views and fun time. Would definitely recommend! Just a couple things to mention, this is one of the busiest tourist attractions I have been to (for a good reason its beutiful). You are in a group with ~30 other people and it's an open bar so there is bound to be a couple people to get drunk and annoy everyone. The pickup time for us was 6:30 but we waited till 7:20 on the side of the road till they finnaly came.
Dont believe the negative review. This isnt a 5 star, butler service yacht. This is a fun trip with dancing, music, and an endless supply of ok rum. You're not paying a crazy amount of money. Snorkeling isn't a thing here there's nothing to see, but the beautiful scenery. They took so many pictures you can talk them down. I paid $50 for mine, another couple paid 80, 2 girls paid 60, and a family of 4 paid 30. You can see there's wiggle room. Just sit back and enjoy the adventure and don't focus on the negative.
Highly recommend this trip, we are a family of 5 youngest child is 8 and eldest is 18. Everyone enjoyed the day and the tour guide was excellent, the trip was a 3rd of the price they were trying to charge us at our resort.
