Sergio is the best tour guide ever. The horseback riding the View and the Food was amazing. Next time that i go visit i will try the Zip line. Their food was great, especially the Mexican lunch with homemade tortillas, tequila and the best Margarita I ever drink.

Adventurous Horseback & Ranch Experience

This was an adventure. An amazing horseback excursion along a creek in a rain forrest followed by a short, steep hike on trail to a gushing waterfall. It ended on the ranch with a nice salsa preparation class, open bar, a local tequila taste and an authentic home cooked meal consisting of local ingredients. The host was very informative as well as entertaining. A must do.

It was ok.

The horse ride felt rushed. We weren't able to go to the river/ waterfall due to all of the rainfall, but the price was still the same with no discount. The tequila tasting and meal was good, however.

Dear visitor LaKeya, Thank you so much for your visit and for writing a review on TripAdvisor. Due to the rains for these dates the river we cross to go to the waterfall is full of water and that make that we cannot cross it, We are happy to hear that you liked the tequila tasting and the meal. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you again soon.

My husband and I had never been horse back riding since childhood, and were a tiny bit nervous. The horses were really well trained, and the tour guides were calm and educational. We made pico de gallo after the ride, learned how tortillas are made, enjoyed some table side made salsa, and a really big lunch. So good and fresh. And we ABSOLUTELY bought some tequilla!

Great experience, not the typical tour!! The hosts are wonderful the food was devious! The price was great. Word of advise, this tour is not for young children (0-14) AND only those who have experience riding horses should sign up!

What a great time! Horseback riding along the river and cruising it several times. Beautiful butterflies everywhere. The horses were great and appeared well cared for. The hike was a bit more than I anticipated (34 flights of stairs per my fitness tracker). Up and down the mountain to a fantastic waterfall. My bottom is pretty sore from the wooden saddles, so if I did it again, I would wear padded bike shorts. It ended with a”cooking” lesson (we cut up some vegetables and made individual pico), watched tortillas Bending pressed and cooked, and then had a nice lunch. Beer, doctrines, water and margaritas were included at the end. The tipping situation before you leave is super awkward through. They put a hat out and make the entire staff stand in a line behind it and make a big announcement to top everyone. Then one by one as people put some pesos in the hat, the staff stands there and claps. You pretty much don’t get on the bus until everyone has contributed. I had already tipped the bartender who was also our waiter. It was uncomfortable for everyone. Our guide Sergio, kept the conversation going in the car and had a sense of humor. He was kind to everyone, and kept the group together well and at a nice place. Aside from the few uncomfortable moments, it’s a great trip, and I highly recommend it. I will be doing it again soon (after I hit the gym and the stair master.
