We loved our wine tasting walking tour. Our guide João was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. First we walked to a port wine cellar and got a detailed tour and port tasting. Some of the walk was uphill, but not too strenuous, plus the weather was nice! Then we walked to to other wineries and tastes red, white and green wine. We did not meet a wine we didn’t like. As we drank João provided stories about wine and Portuguese culture. Overall the tour was fabulous!

Our guide was personable and very knowledgeable about the wines as well as Porto. We enjoyed the wine bars and restaurant. And most importantly we all respected to wear a mask and to sanitize our hands at each establishment.

The tour was poor. We were taken to Taylor's Port House where we were given audio headsets. Very impersonal. The guide himself was ok but the location of the two bars we were taken too were at extreme ends of the city and really not impressive. I would not recommend this tour. Very disappointing.
