Great half day tour of Porto.
, May 2021
This was my first holiday in almost a year. Porto is beautiful and this tour shows you all the highlights, and doesn’t feel rushed. The tour guide was great. Learned so many Interesting facts and history about Porto. Hotel pick up included, and guide dropped me off where I wanted in the city. You visit the cathedral, Sao Beneto train station. Then a cruise and then Port wine tasting and tour! Such a lovely time

Very much enjoyed the tour given by Silvia. She was knowledgeable and very proud of the Porto region and it came out in the tour. Appreciated the history and even the small points of interest. Would highly recommend to others.

Why I am not happy or satisfied? Its not for the city.... its a beautiful city and the people of Porto who are indeed very good. But the service of tour operator and the service provider are not good! I booked my trip through Viator. Firstly we were not picked up from hotel on that day not dropped back. The answer given to us was it was Saturday, no where it was mentioned in terms and conditions. Secondly, couldnot do the boat cruise of six bridges due to shortage of time. Little bit of waste of time in demonstrating the city repeatedly. Less time given in watching the cathedral in a better way . So we missed out boat cruise as it got delayed. We were given the voucher for boat cruise. Thirdly, hence forth I was trying frantically to cancel the tickets/vouchers for boat cruise because of our other commitments. Unfortunately, Viator company has not given any direct reply to my repeated 7 to 8 mails on my cancellation of voucher offered for boat cruise. Its going to be 7 days, except for auto reply of acknowledgement!! That's how we are not satisfied with the service provided to us....not even the positive reply to my question!!

While we enjoyed the tour, ours guide had a very monotonous tone. Also conducting the tour in two languages; English and Spanish is not ideal. As when he would be speaking in English the Spanish people would be talking to each other loudly making it difficult to understand what he was saying. I wish I would have remembered his name.

One of the worst tours I have been on. It was boring and we circled the same tour of the city at last 4 times. Didn't make the Six Bridges Cruise because we ran out of time. Would not recommend this tour to anyone.

My four friends and I were disappointed in this tour booking with Viator. We were picked up at our hotel on time then dropped off at a tour center where we waited for over an hour. While waiting we were accosted by a street beggar then cursed when we did not offer any money. Cityrama personnel apologized but did nothing to assist or expedite the situation. When Annabella arrived it was clear to us that she did not expect to have this group so we were rushed throughout the morning. We were supposed to have a river cruise as part of the tour and did not. It took several requests and the presentation of the advertised tour description to get vouchers to use on our own for this river cruise. We were dropped off near the river in Porto and when we asked for directions back to our hotel, were told just to walk up any street! The tour description included pick-up and drop off at our hotel. This is not the treatment we usually have had from providers of Viator tours. We have used Viator in the U.S, Italy, Scotland, France and Portugal and this tour was not equivalent to other Viator experiences which have always been exceptional. I'm hoping this feedback will help you to maintain your usual level of delivery.

We had a great experience with our tour guide Claudia. She was very prompt on pick up time. Considering that tour includes minivan accomodation, ticket to Cathedral, port vine tasting and river cruise it was worth spending price for the ticket. The small downside was that tour was bilingual and tour guide had to repeat the same info in English and French. This seems to shorten some of the stories considering that we had to complete tour within time limit. On the other side it was some fun and opportunity to learn French...

We waited too long for other passengers, we got in the bus with our 6 month old baby put the pram in the boot drive 100 m to get out at the first monument, waited for passengers, got in the bus, drive around the block and stopped 100 m from where we started for the 2nd visit , not value for money
