Trip of a Lifetime

We had the time of our lives on this trip! Carlos and Cris were knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. They even took GoPro videos of us driving through the huge puddles. Truly a great experience and we can’t wait to bring our families back here and do the Jungle Buggys again!

This excursion was awesome. They included pick up and drop off from our hotel which made things super easy. The driver was great. The tour guides we had were extremely nice. They talked with us about the Mayan culture and we learned a lot. When we did it, it had rained for a little almost every day so there were lots of puddles to drive through which was so fun. The cenote was beautiful. Highly recommend this!

Great day in the Mexican jungle

Our guide, Chris, was great. Very patient, very accommodating, very knowledgeable and great personality . The buggy ride was fun. Not too challenging. Almost relaxing. Buggies were clean and no one had any mechanical issues. The cenote was great. Best cenote I have been to. Very secluded in a reserve so no one else was there. Water was refreshing, crystal clear 40 feet down. Bring your snorkeling equipment and/or under water camera. Transportation was right on time. I am glad we went on this tour. Only took up 4 hours of the day.

the clear water swimming at the cenote

we had a great time on the buggy and the swim. The buggy drive could have been a little more off road and "jungle trail" but it was still fun. the cenote was very cool and beautiful. that is why we picked this one, because most of the others have zip lines as part of it and we just wanted a chill day and that's exactly what we got.

Fun activity for the adventurous!

We really enjoyed this tour. We were in a group of three other can am side by sides. It was very dusty on the trail, but they warned us that it might be. You can bring a bandana or purchase one at the Ranch for a reasonable price. Fun ride on some side trails and to/from a cave cenote for a swim. The guide was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. We took the mid-day tour so we brought sandwiches & water and eat at the cenote. They provided chips & water when we got back to the ranch and had beer that you could purchase. We would recommend this tour for the adventurous type.

Favorite excursion from my trip to Mexico
Kim_K

Chris, the tour guide, was amazing. He and his crew were friendly, provided all the necessary equipment such as eye protection and had scarfs for purchase ($3.00 US). Highly suggest using both as the dust was extremely bad due to no rain for weeks. The Buggy was in excellent condition and easy to operate. The ride was about 30 minutes then we stopped at a beautiful cenote in the jungle. The hike was difficult down to the cenote and suggest good hiking sandals or something on your feet due to steep hills and rocks. There are no steps or hand rails. Someone with a physical disability would not be able to get to the cenote. Chris can provide life jackets if needed, just let him know at the ranch before you leave. Water was beautiful and few people jumped off the rocks into the cenote. Another 15-20 buggy ride brought us back to the ranch for a lite snack (chips and fruit) and purified water. Alcohol was available for purchase. This was my favorite excursion overall.
