Great experience, delicious lunch, and beautiful Cenote!!

Great tour!! Alex was a wonderful guide, and was extremely knowledgable about Mayan history/culture. Thought the drive would seem a little long from Playa Del Carmen to Chichen Itza, but the information during the drive as well as the stops along the way and back were perfectly spaced out for a smooth trip. Bus was comfy and air conditioned, buffet lunch was delicious, and the cenote was the most impressive we've seen. After visiting Tulum, was surprised to find so many trees (aka, shade) spaced out around Chichen Itza which definitely helped with the heat. We had our 5 kids (ages 10 to 19) along this time and they definitely enjoyed the day as well!!

Small group

Alex 77 was our tour guide and he was great! Very knowledgeable and engaging. Even though we were a little late being picked up, we made up time throughout the day. I especially loved this tour because it was a relatively small group - just 15 persons, which made us moving from location to location a relative breeze. As expected, Chichen Itza was full but we moved seamlessly through the crowds, then on to lunch/ cenote where we were ahead of a few larger tour groups which arrived about 20-30 mins after we did.

The service provided was amazing! Alan did his best to make us laugh & gave a great overview of the history of the Mayan's. The A/C bus was comfy & there was even a pit stop planned on the way to Chichen Itza. I booked the night before & was apprehensive as a solo traveler, but the experience was great!
