It was an amazing day, but the trip itinerary happened different than expected. We went to Chechen Itza in pm, but expected to visit it 1st. At the Cenote we had to pay a deposit for the mandatory life jacket. Would be useful to be told before the trip so one can take correct cash. It was a stunning day and the tour guy was friendly, knowledgable and had an excellent sense of humour. Wear ur costume to save time changing.
Great but long tour with alot of additional

The guide and the tour was mostly great! But the time spent on this trip was 1 star. Our hotel was outside Playa Del Carmen, we left 7.30 am and got back to the hotel almost 10pm. Could skip the last stop, to not make this trip sooooooo long. And alot of the information we got came down to the guide knowing someone who could sell you something. From silver to tequila. So alot of talk about trying to get you to buy more things.
Wonderful day!

We went to Chichen Itza in late Feb of 2020. One of the most memorable moments of my life. Our tour guides were not only entertaining but VERY knowledgeable. Our overall experience was excellent. Note that our pickup point from our all inclusive was at the GATE not the front lobby. Make sure you know that. Its a long day from the Mayan Riviera. The big bus is great, lots to drink and we stopped for food. Make sure you have a few items to entertain yourself.
Fantastic full fun day

An experience of a lifetime!

The tour guides were excellent. They really know the history of these incredible Mayan sites. The way they present the information is both entertaining and educational. This was an experience that we will never forget!
I would rather pay for taxi.

Because I wanted to avoid spending time by picking up people from many hotels, I asked before booking this trip what is the capacity of the bus. I was assured that it does not ecceds 25 people. That was not the case. The bus was scheduled to leave at 7 am but we did not leave until 8.45am. About an hour later we arrived to another bus station where we paid additional $60 for "tax". The cost of this trip was originally $189.60 for 3 person. We returned back to hotel at 9.30pm. I would rather paid for taxi $250 to Chichen-Itza round trip and avoid all these obstacles.
Great day

Great but LONG day!

Our guides were magnificent and very knowledgeable. They made the time in the bus fun! However, it was a VERY long day...with our hotel pickup at 7:00 am and return at 9:30pm!!! Had to stop at a “xfer station” for logistics and breakfast so by the time we actually got on the road for the excursions it was almost 9:45. The Cenote and lunch were fun and Chichen Itza interesting, but honestly, I enjoyed Tulum and Coba more if you can only do one. If you are going to do this, bring a book, swimsuit and towel. The guides were also very generous w the liquor on the ride home— that helped ;)
