Worthwhile experience

This was a very somber but worthwhile experience in that it helps to better understand the extent of the atrocities committed against these people. It is truly amazing to see how the people have been able to overcome this tragedy and rebuild their lives from this catastrophic event

The tour is very interesting. Both the Prison and the Killing Fields are remarkable and must be visited as a remembrance for the dark past of Cambodia. I strongly recommend it! I was called before the tour in order to indicate Pick Up location. Our Tour Guide (on January 22nd) was very smart, dedicated to his job and willing to share his knowledge about these sites. We had to pay about 8 USD for the entrance only.

Well organized tour, quality depends on how good your guide is.

Tour was fine, the quality depends on how strong of a tour guide you get - ours was average, English was sometimes a bit difficult to understand and was soft spoken so sometimes hard to hear in a group. You definitely need to visit these sites when in Phnom Penh. Pretty sobering experience.

the tour is about knowing the recent history of Cambodia, a sad part of history though but quite important. The guide was very informative, the tour went well.

This tour is not only talking about Cambodian genocide. The guide also explain and discuss the background, and talking about the culture of Cambodia. This is not one way conversation. The guide gave a honest opinion regarding the situation under the Khmer Rouge regime and aftermath situation.
