It was a great morning! Shelly was our guide and she gave us a great tour. We really weren’t expecting the treat of the fresh Italian bread, fresh cheese and some delicious nuts midway through but it was awesome as we hadn’t really had time for breakfast and it was so local and delicious! This was our favorite tour In Philly.

The mosaics were fabulous and we went to lots of interesting shops. I would have liked a few more samples in the Italian market and some opportunities to speak to more vendors. The only real problem is that the tour is not designed to include any breaks where you can sit down which is very difficult in hot, humid weather. Our tour guide was very accommodating when I asked for a break, but I did not feel comfortable asking for it until the third hour when most of the group was finished because they had not signed up for the extended tour. I also would have liked more detailed history of the market.
