We discuss instead the most interesting and less told facets of this complex and interesting Founding Father. Franklin's brewing activities, advise on woman, connections to grave robbery, and other surprising but true complexities of this intriguing personality will be explored.

The City Tavern is one of the haunted taverns on that list that was frequented by numerous presidents and Founding Fathers of the USA in 1776 including future presidents Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe. Alexander Hamilton, Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, and others ate and drank here often.
