Great wine tasting

This was the highlight of our wine tasting tours. Learned about wine regions in France along with multiple cheeses. I would recommend this lunch tour to anyone wanting to learn about French wines.
Great cheese and wine

Wonderful, small group experience. The wines we tasted were delicious paired alongside yummy cheeses and meats. It was exactly what we were looking for on a Sunday afternoon in Paris!
The information she gave about different French wine regions

I was on a quick trip to Paris and had been there often, so I wanted to do something a bit different. Also, as I wasn’t sure I could check into my hotel early, this tour was scheduled for 12:15pm... so good for using up time. The winebar O was located near the Louvre and an easy metro ride on the #1 line. There were a few other couples waiting in the bar area when I arrived and we were escorted to the wine tasting room downstairs. Our host introduced herself and told us what to expect. There were a couple of large platters of charcuterie set out, along with multiple glasses and information on the wines and cheeses we would be sampling at each seat. She had each of us introduce ourselves and we got started with a good champagne. She was very good about explaining the various wines (3 whites & 2 reds + champagne), where they were from, how they are made, what they pair well with etc. we were given full glasses of each wine and did refill glasses if someone ‘sampled’ a bit too much. She was even concerned about one of the group who didn’t like red, so she filled her glasses with more of the white. At the end of the tasting, she casually mentioned we could purchase any of the wines, but in no way was it a hard sell. I would definitely do the evening wine tasting or the tasting dinner they offer on my next visit.
What a Treat!

Our guide for the tasting was amazing. He taught us many interesting facts and tidbits about wine and the various regions in France. The pick of wines were interesting and lovely to taste. The meat/cheese boards were delicious. It was a fun experience, not boring or stuffy. Loved having the small group. It was interactive and relaxed. Would recommend to other travelers. Feedback: In addition to the tasting - would have preferred to have some wine to drink (even if at my own expense). Re-think those large bulking bar stools (hard to get in and out of).

The Sommelier at the O Chateau was very knowledgeable and personable. He did an excellent job at teaching our group about wines and champagne and the best cheese and food pairing for the ones we tasted.

This wine tasting was very informative. The wine sommelier was knowledgeable and interesting. My only complaint was there was no cheese and no food. They changed our tasting time from noon to 5 o'clock but we still expected food served with the wine. They only provided bread which was a disappointment.
