Returns to original departure point
Paris and Hollywood have had a long love affair, captured in countless films and TV shows throughout the decades. To begin your 2-hour walking tour, meet your knowledgeable film buff guide at a box office in central Paris and set off toward Ile St-Louis. As you walk, hear about the history of movie-making in Paris and pass some of the city’s most iconic monuments, like Notre-Dame Cathedral.

While wandering Paris’ photogenic streets and the famous riverbanks and bridges of the Seine, see filming locations for movies including Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, the Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn caper Charade, and thrillers like The Bourne Identity and several James Bond films. Visit the house of a character from The Three Musketeers TV show and stop in front of the Shakespeare and Company bookstore featured in the romantic classic Before Sunset.

Get a glimpse of the restaurant visited by Julia Childs in Julie & Julia and walk down the backstreet set of a romantic moment in The Devil Wears Prada. Your star-struck tour concludes back at the original departure point near Notre Dame.

Really great at accommodating requests - our paris guide took pictures of us enacting a scene from the Devil Loves Parada, and did a special walk so I could see the stairs that were features in Midnight in Paris. You also work off your croissants off?

Bargain. In the Norte dame/ bastille districts. Almost 2 hours but enjoyed. Personal. Meet at their little store/cafe. Cute dogs. Guide speaks very good English. Tour covers interesting movie locations, local history, and setting the scene. Including the oldest restaurant in Paris. great/different views of Norte dame. Good tips that only a local would know.

Terrific look at mostly recent movies made in Paris primarily in the area immediately surrounding Notre Dame. Guide Anton was not only knowledgeable but enthusiastic. I could have done with a longer tour which included more older films but I recognize this is a general overview designed for those with a more casual interest and 2.5 hours was probably plenty for them. The tour isn't strictly about movies and TV: some local lore -- such as history of of the cathedral -- is also covered. While there's plenty of walking, the pace is comfortable and there are few -- if any -- steps so no concerns with access or needing to be in perfect shape. If taking the tour in summer, I strongly recommend sunscreen and hats ... and possibly an umbrella within minutes of completing the tour under clear skies, a brief but strong storm rolled in.

Loved this tour. The guide was brilliant. It was a perfect, sunny Paris day and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I had hoped to see a few more movie sites but in the end that didn't matter because it was so enjoyable and you get to see parts of Paris you would never see. Highly recommend.

I can definitely recommend this 2hour tour. The host so sorry, I have already forgotten her name, is very knowledgable on both the movies of the Paris area we strolled around, but was also able to give plenty of background on the history of the area. Spoiler alert ! who knew the original Sweeney Todd was from Paris, btw - if you get the chance, take a look round the shop, some interesting movie material and interesting posters.

It was an amazing experience. There were 3 of us so we had plenty of time to see and photograph the various movie locations around Paris. Charlie, our guide, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I enjoyed interacting with someone who really loves movies.
