Lost in Montmartre

We were left to find our way back down to the Moulin Rouge, bit of a challenge. The Musee d'Orsay is extremely far from this area.

Bonjour. And nice to hear from you. Yes, that's right, this double-feature service includes a guided tour around Montmartre + a skip-the-line ticket for a self-guided tour of Musée d'Orsay. This tour does not take you to the D'Orsay, which is located in another district. That being said, after Montmartre, our guides gladly take guests back to the métro or to a taxi. Do not hesitate to ask us! You can also use your d'Orsay museum ticket on a different day. It's up to you. Your right to skip the line at Musée d'Orsay is permanent. I hope this helps. Very best,

This was the first activity in our two week itinerary and it was memorable. The day was overcast and a bit rainy but that didn't took away from our experience. Our tour guide - I think her name was Moana- she was wonderful!! very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about sharing all relevant information. She had a great sense of humor and a great smile. She was truly a pleasure! I was worry to missed information during the tour because English is my second language but Moana's English was very good and also spoke clear and loud enough that everyone could hear. I will give her a 10.

Very disappointed that this tour was cancelled without any notification. We arrived at the meeting site over an hour in advance and did not receive either a text, email, or phone call.

Montmartre walking tour enjoyable and informative

Our tour guide, Mouna, was very pleasant and knowledgeable with regards to the history and influence of Montmartre on Parisien artists in the late 19th century. She carried excellent visual aids, spoke clearly and took us to all the highlights of this fascinating part of Paris. At the end of the 2 hours+ tour she gave us tickets to the Musee D’Orsay and we took the metro to that excellent museum highlighting French Impressionism. The line up for ticket holders was short.

bon jour! Yes, you describe our double feature so well: first a guided visit of Montmartre. Then skip-the-line-tickets for the D'Orsay Museum. First the walking tour in Montmartre. Guide is a local who feels passionately about Montmartre. We have visual aids that we call our Scrapbook. We use it to show a lot of the art that was painted at Montmartre. And to help prepare your subsequent visit to the Orsay Museum. After the tour, you go to Musée D'Orsay when you wish to. Your skip the line ticket means you have the security check to go through, but you skip the wait to the ticket counter. The D'Orsay is a gorgeous building overlooking the river Seine. It features the largest Impressionist collection in the world - Renoir, Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Gauguin and on and on. Come again! Very best, Alexandre

This was a spirited & informative tour from the Moulin Rouge up the slope through Montmartre ending at Sacre Cour. I highly recommend it. The D'Orsay pass provided could be used any time.

We loved this tour with Delphine! We learned so much about the Impressionists and Delphine showed us many paintings and where the artists painted those scenes. Delphine knew her subject, was very engaging, and even sang for us. We loved it! Thanks from the Sullivan Sisters!

We had a great time learning about Montmartre. Our guide gave us interesting stories about the neighborhood. He also stopped at a local bakery and got us special treats, which were delicious! It was a fun visit and a great way to see this neighborhood. I highly recommend it!

Excellent tour on a rainy day

Our tour guide Mathieu was excellent and very knowledgeable. We wound our way up to the Sacre Coeur and learned lot of interesting things along the way. Passed lots of great restaurants and shops (away from the very touristy ones right by Sacre Coeur) that I would have loved to go back to...but it was pouring rain and cold! Still a great experience.
