Big Bus Paris Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

Probably due to Covid but no actual guide and the recordings were old, gave information about Notre Dame before the fire as if it had never happened. Really long stops almost 15 minutes at 2 places. That should be shortened..

It was way more extensive than we expected. We learned a lot about the city’s history. Definitely worth the money.

There are only 10 stops (2 of which are the same) and there is a lot of walking to certain tourist stops. After our 10 kin walk, we saw the same bus pass our location I would suggest adding at least 5 more stops to get you closer to the points of interest. Route starts 9:30a/10a and last route is at 6p, so that left us stranded at our far away destination and a 20 euro cab ride back (this happened both days r= 40 euros total). It was hard to plan our timed entry museum entries to the bus route. Audio recorded info about the city points in multiple languages. We had the 1 hr cruise add on, that starts at Noon near Eiffel. The cruise was fine but hard to plan when you want to other site seeing.

We only had one day in Paris. What a great way to see the highlights of this beautiful city. Highly recommend.

We were really excited about the Big Bus Tour but left a bit disappointed. Negatives; -The app worked intermittently -Bus stops were unclear -The sound to the Bus Tour only worked in a few seats -Bus driver often went different routes because of traffic and randomly let you off but never made any announcements -Unfriendly/not helpful bus driver. We got the sense the bus driver had to rush from points to points. Positives -Buses came frequently -We really appreciated the free rain ponchos when it started to pour! -Convenient bus stop points

I loved being able to just sit back and relax and enjoy seeing Paris! No worries about traffic at all haha!

We read some bad reviews but the 2 day with boat tour was appealing. DONT DO IT!!! There was no live narration of the tour- the recorded audio clips in English were short and random times. There were no stop announcements- never sure if we were at an actual tour stop or just a light. At one point the driver stopped the bus, turned it off and left for 10minutes! No announcement & not at the Eiffel Tower- unannounced in the middle of the tour! It was so bad we didn’t get back on nor did we do our 2nd day we just walked/used the metro. We tried to redeem our boat tour tickets prior to the boat departure and was told they were closed! We came to learn they meant “sold out”..... how does it sell out when we have tickets?! We were thankful in the end because their boat (orange logo) was jam packed with people- zero social distancing and squished like sardines. We ended up buying a later cruise with another company down the pier (red white and blue flag) and it’s was fantastic- lots of room, champagne and crepes on the tour- definitely a blessing in disguise. We are pretty easy going people- but this was AWFUL!! Take another company or save your money and just use the metro.

The 1 route that was running delivered as indicated, however, when we booked overseas prior to coming to Paris, the website indicated there were several routes so we booked a 2 day pass. Very disappointed and we would not have booked 2 days had we known.

Very easy to get on and off this bus. The only negative is that it shuts down at 5 pm. Make sure you keep in mind while planning.

We had a hard time finding the first stop but once we boarded the bus it all went well. No difficulty hearing the recording of the tour with the headphones. And the price was very reasonable
