Unbelievable!! I highly recommend the 2 day tour--we saw so much, including ever D-Day invasion beach, Point du Hoc and St. Mere Elgises where paratroopers landed as well as eating at local restaurants suggested by our guide, Sylvan, who was excellent. The scope of the invasion was so massive and this comes across on this tour. The only negative is the hotel and dinner on the overnight stay. IT was stated to be a 3 star hotel it was clean but otherwise very modest and it was located on the outskirts of town so not conducive to visiting the town. I would recommend that the hotel be upgraded or at least moved into the heart of the town.

This was an amazing 2 day trip from Paris! We didn't have to worry about driving, and our tour guide, Sylvain, provided an excellent commentary along the way. He provided background history, was very knowledgeable about the American involvement in the WWII landing, and customized the tour to our wants. We were researching my uncle's memorial at the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach area, and he helped us find his name on the Wall of the Missing, as well as a guided tour through some special markers in the cemetery. The accommodations and meals were all well planned to serve us on our arrival time, no waiting! By taking the 2 day tour, you get to Omaha Beach area in the early morning of the 2nd day, and beat the crowds that way. It makes for a more intimate experience in which to pay your respects. We covered everything advertised in the description, including all 5 of the landing beaches, with many inside stories along the way. Would definitely recommend!!

This was a wonderful yet heart wrenching tour. It really gave us a new perspective on the horrors of WWII. What a terrible time for the world. You really need a 2 day tour to see all of the sites. Our tour guide, Mr. B. was awesome and so very nice. He was so knowledgeable about all the history of the war. We even got to go into some of the bunkers. Mr. B. kindly helped me to look for my Uncle's tomb at the beautiful American cemetery. God bless all of the brave soldiers who helped saved the world.

The tour was as advertised and much more. Our guide, Bertrand, was very customer oriented, well spoken and a wonderfully prepared expert of the events of not only June 6, 1944 but before and after. He held the attention of the group with his vivid descriptions of events and strategies of both the Allies and the Germans. He took time to to show us little known battle sites that were crucial to Allied advancement. We all felt safe and cared for the whole trip. Bertrand took the time to personally relate to each person and went out of his way to see that our accommodations were satisfactory before tending to his own. We would definitely go on another tour with him and consider ourselves fortunate to have had this experience.
