Legend says that Roger II, the well-known Norman sovereign of Sicily, in gratitude to God for sparing his life in a violent storm at sea, commissioned the building of a grand cathedral at Cefalù, where he landed after the tempest.
Your trip will continue on to Santo Stefano di Camastra, a lovely little village famous for its refined and historical tradition of ceramic production. The pretty and colorful ceramics are sold to visitors in the many shops along the streets of its center.
After the tour is finished, your driver will take you back to your accommodation in downtown Palermo.
