Just ok
, Feb 2020
This was an ok tour. Part of the problem was it was raining and cold which obviously is not the fault of the guide but it might have affected our actual tour. It was somewhat hurried and didn’t really talk about Tolkien or others mentioned in the description of the tour.
Knowledgeable guide

Our guide was excellent. We didn't catch his name, but he knew so much about the university and the area. We had our three kids with us, teen down to tween, and they kept up just fine. We absolutely enjoyed our time on this tour and learned very much. We were there on a Monday in February. It was cold and rainy, but still enjoyable.

Great tour! We all thoroughly enjoyed and it was the perfect length of time. The depth of knowledge was impressive and it made me want to go back for more. Really good taster and I would recommend without hesitation.
A good walk along some of Oxford's little known streets
, Oct 2019
Our guide was good and very, very knowledgeable of the history of Oxford's Colleges and buildings and at times most amusing. We were only a group of 6 but he walked a little fast engaged in deep conversation with one particular visitor. We were on the 11.00am tour listed as the most popular and very disappointed that we could not get into a College. We noticed most Colleges had notices saying that they did not open until the afternoon, so we suggest if you want to get into a College choose a later tour.
A one-on-one I won't forget

I had an excellent tour with Tom. Part of that is the result of his having only me as a client, but much of it is his knowledge and wit, and his ability to customize a tour to the specific interests of that client.

We did this tour on Saturday 13th October. It was fantastic and good value for money. The guide was full of knowledge and little 'asides' of true stories and legends. We found out so much more about the inner workings of the University and the history that we ever could doing a walking tour on our own. Many thanks for a great one and a half hours.

Fascinating history of Oxford University with tour guide, Jeff. The tour actually stretched to 2 hours but I could've walked around listening to Jeff all day long - two hours wasn't enough! Such passion for his subject, Jeff was engaging from start to finish. The colleges are stunning and this tour is a must-see for anyone visiting Oxford.

Excellent tour. Easy to find the meeting place and good value. We had actually found most of the main land mark buildings in Oxford before the tour started, but this gives you access to areas you wouldn't come across by yourself. Its good to hear the history and some modern film references to the buildings. There are some stunning locations to visit. Its well worth the money and the hour and half touring around. I would thoroughly recommend it. We had a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide too.

Actual tour was very good once the guide got over the inconvenience of having to check my details by reference numbers. As I have no printer at home I was not able to print the receipt but did telephone beforehand to make sure this was ok. As many people are in this position an updated system would be useful.
Rundtur Oxfordunivesitetsområde.

Det var en väldigt givande och rolig tur runt om bland univesitetsbyggnaderna. Guiden var lättsam och rolig och det var lätt att följa med..Allt var positivt.
