Upon arrival at the KSC Visitor Complex, you're free to tour the stellar visitor complex at your leisure. Board the NASA bus for a quick trip to one of the many mind-blowing exhibits like the Early Space Exploration exhibit featuring stories and artifacts from missions like Gemini, or the Rocket Garden to view the first NASA rockets. Kids (and adults!) love getting interactive at the Children’s Play Dome.

Continue to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you relive Neil Armstrong’s moonwalk, touch a moon rock, and get a close-up view of the giant Saturn V rocket—the largest rocket ever made at 363 feet (110 meters) tall. Then take in a complimentary showing or two at the IMAX Theater. And don’t leave without getting a full-sensory space experience at the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, featuring more than 60 interactive experiences!

Between stops, engage in savvy interactive displays, remember fallen astronauts at the Astronaut Memorial, and take needed snack breaks (own expense) in the Rocket Garden or Orbit Cafe.

    Upgrade Options:
    • Lunch with an Astronaut: Enjoy an unforgettable lunch with a veteran NASA astronaut. Help yourself to a fresh buffet meal, and spend some quality time with an expert space traveler to ask your burning space questions and get an autograph!

This experience was enlightening and fun at the same time. The simulated lift off was a true highlight but truthfully the whole day was a blast. Wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking 🚶‍♂️.

The different films, e.g. lunar landing, control rooms and actual Atlantis shuttle. Just to see the marvel of engineering that went in to building them. Amazing!

KSC was a truly great and inspiring experience. Well worth the vusit. The transportation part of the journey was far less impressive. The person responsible for managing the shuttle was no well equipped and not at all interested in providing a good experience to anyone.

Kennedy space centre is amazing. So much to do, see and learn. You can take yourself around or join the organised tours and events at scheduled times which are delivered by knowledgable interested staff. Each tour is for a particular aspect of the centre so you can do as many or as few as you like. Please be aware that the other part of this tour is strictly transportation only. I had expected the ‘tour guide’ on the bus to point out things on the way as has happened on every other trip i have taken. After an initial greeting, and telling us the time for travel he launched into a badly delivered advert for visiting a well known alligator attraction in the orlando region where you could see learn and hold baby alligators. This was immediately followed by a description of getting a license to shoot them. After that there was silence and he sat mostly on his phone both there and back. Get an uber/ taxi or car. The journey experience will be much better. The uber and taxi drivers will almost certainly have better conversationist and host skills. If you are at all worried about covid beware we were packed tightly into a minivan and treated to dirty seats, windows and views of the drivers and guides trash and lunch. I admit i did tip but it was intended for the driver who got us there and back safely despite forgetting to put on his seat belt until we were approximately 2/3 of the way back. Note to the company: the driver can check guest names and hand out the tickets, and provide the very limited verbal info given. Sack the other person as they have no role in either guest hospitality or providing information. You will also be able to squash in that extra tourist body to assist in making the journey more uncomfortable than it already was

The transport to Kennedy Space Center was comfortable and got us where we needed to be on time. I had expected to be given more info on the attraction during the journey, but that didn’t happen so the Viator package was really just a convenient way of getting too and from KSC

Good but expensive and one negative takeaway
    Nicole_G
    , Jun 2022
Overall a good tour … the bus guide was very knowledgeable and was clearly passionate about the specialised subject. This tour Is good for those who are not renting a car… if you had a car to get there I WOULD NOT bother with this… Just drive there yourself :) The price of this was a little expensive .. but I understand through / because of covid prices have increased as they have globally. The only negative take away I had from this tour is right at the end where the tour guide expressed: “tips are greatly expected” I understand that it is the culture in the US is to tip and I would have, had the tour guide say that tips are appreciated … I don’t like being forced to do anything … and like I said it was expensive for what it was ANYWAY … just left a bad taste in my mouth at the end of the day. Id advise that the tour guides need to review how they say things like this in the future if they do want tips…

We purchased transport only and expected a coach bus as advertised. We were picked up in a van with a broken passenger door. There were 4 pickup locations so the drive ended up being over an hour and half. 9:30- 4:00 allowance at the park using this transportation. Could have hired a direct Lyft driver for cheaper with 3 people. Guides were friendly. Park pass purchased separately, and was lots of fun.
