Overview

Go off-roading in Aruba to explore the Caribbean island’s natural landmarks best accessed by 4WD, with the option to add on a snorkeling cruise by catamaran. Get behind the wheel of a Kia Sportage or let your guide steer the way aboard a Jeep Wrangler. Highlights include the Natural Bridge, Boca Mahos cove, Arikok National Park and Baby Beach. Enjoy grilled seafood or chicken for lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Round-trip hotel transport is also included in the half-day or full-day option.
  • Aruba island tour by off-road vehicle
  • Drive or ride in your own Kia Sportage or Jeep Wrangler, following a local guide
  • Explore the island from top to bottom, stopping at beaches, caves, rock formations and more
  • Visit popular natural attractions like Baby Beach, Arikok National Park, Boca Mahos and the Natural Bridge
  • Enjoy a seaside lunch at the Pelican Nest Seafood Grill on Aruba’s northwest coast
  • Choose the full-day tour to end your adventure on a catamaran snorkeling cruise with an open bar
  • Hotel transport included
Set off over the rugged terrain of Aruba during a round-island off-road adventure, starting with hotel pickup. At the tour base, meet your guide for a safety briefing and hop into your selected vehicle; a Kia Sportage gets you behind the wheel if you wish, while a Jeep Wrangler pus you in the passenger seat while you leave driving duties to your experienced guide. Each vehicle holds a maximum of four people.

Roaring along Aruba’s remote northern coast all the way down to the southern end, you’ll stop at numerous natural attractions, such as the rocky ruins of Natural Bridge, an eroded limestone formation that collapsed in 2005. View the California Lighthouse, the remnants of a 19th-century gold mine and Boca Mahos cove.

Bounce over back roads to Arikok National Park to observe the Amerindian petroglyphs of Guadirikiri Cave. When you reach Baby Beach at the island’s southern tip, dig your toes in the sand and marvel at the shallow, tranquil waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Circling back to the northwestern coast to Pelican Pier, end the off-roading portion of your tour with lunch at the Pelican Nest Seafood Grill. Enjoy waterfront views as you dine on a lunch of chicken or fresh fish. If you’ve chosen the half-day tour, you’re taken back to your hotel.

If you’re on the full-day tour, board your catamaran for a snorkeling cruise and enjoy snacks and drinks at the open bar. Your expert crew ensures a laid-back ride, topped off by calming sea breezes. Use the provided snorkel gear to explore the tropical marine life at two locations — the Antilla shipwreck and Catalina Reef. Your tour comes to an end when you return to the pier with drop-off at your hotel.

Highly Recommend

We only had one day in Aruba as we were on a cruise ship. My husband and I chose to have a driver rather than drive the Jeep ourselves. Victor (Pelican Tours) was excellent as a tour guide and as a driver. We could just sit back, relax and also Victor could answer our questions as we toured. Victor also provided us with drinks and snacks. Stops included California Lighthouse, Gold Mill Ruins, Baby Natural Bridge, Arikok National Park, Quadirikiri Caves and a brief stop at Baby Beach for a swim. Lunch was included and was at the Pelican Restaurant overlooking the beautiful water and beaches of Aruba.

The off road was good but we should have been told ahead of time that we needed shoes for climbing so we wouldn't have worn flip flops. Snorkel trip, we have been on much better ones. Not enough snacks and not handles well so that everyone could get some. No beer only liquor to drink. Not everyone drips liqour

Went on full day tour, best part was snorkeling. Could be 5 stars if touring hours were extended - add an hour to enjoy sights and lunch. Had to take lunch to go to catch catamaran for snorkeling. Have catamaran leave at 3 or 3:30 pm. (Routes to tourist areas /attractions should be cleaner.)

Tony was our guide!! He was funny and engaging throughout the trip. Even though you are given an allotted time at each place, it was enough to get the pictures you needed and kept it interesting!! Loved it!!

We saw a lot on this tour but felt really rushed to get back, eat lunch (late - it was 2PM) and then get on the catamaran for snorkeling. Enjoyed ourselves but maybe one less stop on the land tour would have made the whole day more relaxing. Snorkeling was great but if you are not a strong swimmer be sure to wear a vest, it can be very windy
