Disappointed from WI
, Jan 2022
I rated it a 1 star only because we received a text msg cancelling our tour. We were all very disappointed, as we do not know when we'll be able to return to HI. We could not re-book this...
Terrible customer service
, Jan 2022
The day before the tour the company texted me saying it was cancelled. Have called for the last three days and have been unable to reach anyone about getting a refund
Not as Advertised
, Jan 2022
The tour was not as long as promoted. We didn’t receive any coffee or donuts, the tour ended at noon because the USS Arizona was closed and nstead of giving us more time, we left at noon and was back to Waikiki by 12:30. We only exited the bus twice. The tour guide was amazing but I would not book this tour. There is a lot of false advertising.
Viator ruined our trip
, Dec 2021
It wad horrible because of viator booked us on Christmas day and the park was closed. They told us as we were waiting for a bus that was not to arrived. Their excuse was rhey tries to notified us the day before bit that would not have helped because we were flying out on the 26th. They booked the date and time. The agent did and then when they errored just referred to a 800 number. Horrible.
Extremely disappointing. Felt like we were scammed!

We researched and found a few similar tours but decided to go with this based on the itinerary despite the price being higher than the others. Five minutes after we boarded the coach, one of the passengers screamed out that her daughter and a friend were left behind (they didn’t board the bus). I know this is not the tour operator’s fault entirely but it still begs the question, why weren’t the number of passengers counted? For a tour group with more than 40 people, would have thought the tour operator would take the responsibility to ensure the entire party are on. We were informed in advance that the boat to the USS Arizona Memorial wouldn’t be running due to security issue at the dock. With that change in itinerary, we would have thought we would be given more time to go around Pearl Harbor. Instead the opposite happened - the driver cut our visit shorter than the allotted time in the itinerary. The itinerary on Viator indicated the tour was meant to be 5-6 hours long. We literally were done in 3 hours from the time we got picked and dropped off. The entire trip was rushed. Most of the first hour was spent driving up to the Punchbowl memorial where the driver stopped the bus for 60 seconds ‘allowing’ people on the right side of the bus to take pictures thru the dirty bus window. She then took us to the Royal Palace and did actually let us out of the bus this time to take pictures for 10 minutes. When we arrived at Pearl Harbor, the bus driver gave us only 70 minutes to tour it. The Viator listing suggests 2 hours at Pearl and and additional hour at the Arizona memorial. We asked about the discrepancies between the itinerary and tour activities. The tour operator stated she received similar questions many times and said this Viator listing was posted in 2009 and that is NOT the real itinerary!!! That’s a total scam! We picked it because of the extras in comparison to other tours. It’s infuriating because we had to rush at Pearl Harbor - did not get to visit all the museums/ read the resources or have time to finish watching the documentary video…with the USS Arizona boat tour cancelled, why weren’t we given more time at Pearl Harbor? Again, we asked the tour operator (Aloha Pearl Harbor) why weren’t we given more time with the cancellation of boat tour. Her response was even with the boat tour, we would still leave at noon and the 5-6 hours noted is just a ‘window for reference.’ It doesn’t make sense at all! If we were supposed to have 2 hours at Pearl Harbor and 1 hour at USS Arizona, it doesn’t even add up since we given only 70 mins in total - the rest of the time we’re driving through the city. The tour operator clearly cut it short! Would not recommend booking any tour with Aloha Pearl Harbor, and Viator should ban them from the platform. This egregious misrepresentation makes us question ever booking through Viator again! The booking via Viator wasn’t seamless either, it involves contacting the tour operator directly for the official tickets.

If you like to be rushed that this tour.
, Dec 2021
We were rushed in and out. No time to see anything. If we had found anything in the gift shop the lines were too long to wait, we would have missed the bus. Didn't get to see the submarine or the Missouri. they were showing some films on the lawn but didn't have time to even look at those. I would not take this tour again, would take a taxi and see very thing at my own pace.

A great experience!

It was a rainy day but our tour guide kept our spirits up and conducted us through the tour like a seasoned veteran! Thank you!
Ron, don’t walk from this tour
, Dec 2021
Nothing more than a glorified taxi service. I would not recommend this to anyone because it was misleading in that it said 830 to 330 and we were back by 1:30 and it didn’t give us enough time or any direction whatsoever once we were at the memorial. Extremely dissatisfied dissatisfied

Pearl Harbor 80th Anniversary
, Dec 2021
Shelly with Aloha Tours was such a good tour guide. She provided great information during our city tour, and was so helpful with information about pear Harbor. We had timed tickets for the memorial which was such a moving experience, especially since our tour was the week of the 80th anniversary!
