Sunset Cruise

Catamaron was very clean and big enough for 80 people and we only had 30 people on this trip. Food was very good and the captain and crew were very nice and accomodating. I'm giving this cruise only 3 strars because we did not really cruise!. We went out thru the breakwater and opened the sail but only cruised for a little while and then anchored for an hour and waited for the sunset. that was disappointing as on other cruises we have cruised along the coast and enjoyed the senery until it was time for the sunset and that is definitely more enjoyable than just anchored not far from shore and waiting for the sunto set.

We were lucky enough to see the most beautiful Hawaiian sunset and the rise of a FULL MOON. Beautiful.

December weather can be hit and miss. Although chilly and somewhat cloudy, we were able to get some fairly good sunset pictures. Unfortunately the cruise was disappointing. There were 7 passengers and with 3 crew. We motored from the marina at 5pm to the harbor. The sail came out, the sun set, we took pictures and were back at the marina by 6:40pm. Appetizers and drink was available. Sunset cruises are a must when we visit Hawaii. This cruise disapponted.

boat is gorgeous, crew is awesome, and the drinks are strong! like really, get the punch! lesson learned, do NOT wear a dress. dress is casual and relaxed. you will even be barefoot on-board, so plan ahead. don't forget to make the bell ring often and have them pick you up, because the parking lot is shady looking.

The guys on this trip were great. It was a fun trip with a beautiful sunset and then an amazing golden full moon rising behind us over the Waianae Mountains. The drinks were generous try the Catatonic and the pupus were delicious, A very sweet trip that I highly recommend!
