Nerd to fix description from Aloha Tours
, Jun 2021
Pearl Harbor was great but this was not tour we paid to be on and city tour was not we expected by description during booking. We also did not get go on USA Missouri as described.
Great way to spend the AM.

Tour description is not accurate but that’s okay. This tour offers pickup, takes you to the PH site including a ticket to the USS Arizona, and drives through the Punchbowl to the national cemetery site. Also includes a stop downtown at the King Kamehameha stay the for a quick photo op. Perfect. Sign up. Dave, your guide, is a hoot! Entertaining and helpful.

Emotional monument.

Very moving. Tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and very sincere. Going on Memorial Day put an extra lump in my throat. Timing was good. Museums were informative.
Do not use this company
, May 2021
Do not use this company!!! I booked 2 excursions in Hawaii in May of 2021 for a group of 5. 1st was for a Pearl Harbor tour and paid $275. I recieved both email and text confirmations, the day before the excursions they cancelled it. I never recieved my refund and I have called SEVERAL times to both Viator and the Aloha Tour Company. 2nd was a Sailing in Hawaii for $240. Same thing happened, all was booked, all was confirmed my money was taken instantly and then they cancelled. Still have not recieved my money. Do not book through this company!!!
Big Mistake
, May 2021
My tour was planned for a 6:50 am pickup. I called day before to confirm. Shortly after confirmation I was sent a text saying I would be picked up at 8:50 am. When I called to question if it was a mistake no one was available. I called company I booked through and they hadn’t received communication of time change. Later in morning after no one showing up for 6:50am pickup they texted it would be 8:50. The driver was 30 minutes late and when he did show up to take us to bus he stopped to have a conversation with someone about how nice their car was. I would not recommend taking this tour! If you have car you can go to Pearl Harbor on your own. Five hour tour plus the 3 hours I spent waiting to try and figure out correct pickup time. You do not need hours at Pearl Harbor. Do not do tour groups for Pearl Harbor! Also lots of signs on bus requesting tips.

I was extremely disappointed by this tour. The description promised "Light breakfast of a fresh malasada (Portuguese doughnut) from world-famous Leonard's Bakery, a fresh cup of coffee and a bottle of water" the driver merely pointed out Leonard's as we drove by. Absolutely nothing was provided. During the drive to Pearl Harbor I expected some background, but none was given. We were left at Pearl Harbor with tickets to the memorial and nothing else. As a result, I had to rent an audio tour. The description said we would visit both the Arizona and the Missouri but apparently the Missouri was closed which should have been disclosed.
