Begin your excursion downtown, where you’ll visit the King Kamehameha Statue, the Punchbowl National Cemetery, and the Iolani Palace, the only royal residence on American soil. Then take the navy launch to see the USS Arizona Memorial, a significant tribute to the many lives lost during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Your tour concludes with drop-off back at your pier or the airport.
  • Honolulu city tour shore excursion including Pearl Harbor
  • Visit Iolani Palace, the royal palace of Hawaii's monarchy
  • See the statue of King Kamehameha, the first man to unite the islands
  • Stop by the Punchbowl National Cemetery
  • Navy launch to view the USS Arizona Memorial
  • Free port pickup and drop-off included
  • Covered by Viator's worry-free policy: guaranteed on-time return to your ship
After pickup from your port, your local guide will begin your tour through Honolulu’s vibrant downtown, where you’ll hear about the first monarch to circle the world, King Kalakaua. Admire the grounds of the Iolani Palace, the only royal residence in the country. Your guide will pass on the secrets of the royal rulers prior to their demise.

Next, you’ll head over to the statue of King Kamehameha, an important figure in Hawaiian history best known for unifying the islands in 1810. After, you’ll visit the Punchbowl National Cemetery, honoring all those who served in the Armed Forces. The cemetery sits high on Puowaina Crater, overlooking Diamond Head and Waikiki.

Your last stop will take you to the site of Pearl Harbor, where you’ll cruise on a navy launch over to the USS Arizona Memorial. Sitting atop the sunken battleship, this national memorial commemorates the sailors and marines whose lives were taken during the attack that launched the U.S.’s entry into World War II.

Your tour will conclude with drop-off back at your Waikiki pier or the airport. This post-cruise shore excursion is available for Norwegian Cruise Line passengers on debarkation day and for those with flight times after 5:30pm.

The tour worked out well for us. We had plenty of time at Pearl Harbor to see what we wanted and also got to see a bit of Honolulu. Pick up and drop off at the ship was easy. The driver also dropped people off for shopping if they wanted, which was very nice of him. The driver was interesting and provided good commentary. Since our time was limited, this was a good way for us to see Pearl Harbor with no stress.

We were met at the pier where our Royal Caribean Ship docked. There were only 8 of us on a small bus so were able to ask many questions about life in Honolulu. We drove first around the older part of the city and stopped to take pictures of famous landmarks. Next we went to Pearl Harbour and given directions on how to get into our prepaid tour. Our driver stayed with the bus so that those who had luggage for their return home wouldn't have to get a locker at Pearl Harbour. We saw a video about the attack on the Military base that brought the Americans into the WW2. We continued to diamond head and Waikiki Beach before some of being dropped back off at the ship and the others to the airport.

Picked up by Roberts at the cruise terminal after disembarking from the Pride Of America. Driver was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Pearl Harbour was emotional and very appropriate. All the films, displays and literature explained the story behind the USS Arizona and that fateful day. After Pearl Harbour I felt the tour went a bit long could have been shortened by about half an hour. It was good to be dropped off at our resort and all our luggage and items on the bus were safe while we were at Pearl Harbour

Pearl Harbor tour was great but at port was very disorganized and took time away from tour. Tour was supposed to be at 9:00 and we did not get picked up until 9:30. Driver was not that familiar with Honolulu.

The Roberts of Hawaii representative was waiting for us as we left the dock area. The van was perfect - small group. The driver gave us a little commentary about Pearl Harbor as we drove there. After Pearl we took a drive in Honolulu. We saw the govt. buildings and we stopped to take photos. We asked to be let off in Waikkii. It was an easy way back to the ship.
