first lets talk about what's not going to happen. There is no instruction on how to standup paddleboard on this trip. See the girls in the picture standing on their paddleboards? If you do not know how to stand up on a paddleboard already, you are not going to learn how or be able to by the end of this tour. You will be sitting on your paddleboard as if it was a kayak. Our guide didn't even stand on the paddleboard. Also there was no instruction on how to use your oar as a rudder to steer, luckily i already knew this from kayaking previously, but others in my group did not and i had to help them! See the picture of the snorkeling person with the fish? This is not a snorkeling spot. There will not be any fish to see snorkeling. There is no reef here. Our guide told us this was not a snorkeling location and they did not even plan to bring any gear for snorkeling. I had to ask them to bring it, even though it's in the description that you can snorkel, which by the way we did not do, because, as I said there are not any fish there hanging around. There were a lot of snails on the rocks @ the island and maybe we saw a turtle, but no one else recognized it as a turtle except me, so maybe I didn't really even see a turtle, possibly it was just a rock. The gear was cobbled together and I was stuck with a shorter paddleboard which is harder to manage, and speaking of the gear, my paddle oar was taped together with electrical tape. So,if it's a sunny day and you are in Hawaii, it's still fun to paddle around in the bay, the view from the island was magnificent, the guides were super nice, but really it's not worth the price by any stretch of the imagination. There were plenty of people there who had just rented equipment in the bay and paddled over so it wasn't a really big secret or anything.

Dear Jill, I see after reading your review how disappointed you are. Maybe our fault is that we have to be more clear on the description of the type of excursion. We advertise this tour as paddle boarding tour to a pretty cool place in Oahu. If you read well, snorkeling is something that we offer on top , this is not a snorkeling tour. You can see monk seals, turtles and more wild life, We can show you lots of pictures and videos. You seem upset because you couldn’t stand up on the paddle board, but this is not a paddle boarding lesson tour. If you didn’t feel comfortable standing up on the board, there is nothing wrong using the board as a kayak. If one paddle had a tape ( one paddle) doesn’t mean that the equipment wasn’t working, the day before one client hit the bottom rock and we didn’t have time to fix it properly, but again, it would not have made any difference. You liked the guide Catherine, this is the most important thing, we always want you to feel comfortable and safe when families are wit us. Regarding the price, saying that is too expensive, please look around on other tours, you will see that as a private tour, we charge half the price of anybody’s else. We apologize if you didn’t enjoy the experience, and we will even add more on the description of the tour saying that this is not a snorkeling tour or either paddle boarding lesson tour, but just an amazing location where you can go with a board and jump in the water to see wild life. I will be more that happy to give you another tour for free when you come back to paradise so you can see that we really take good care of our families, we strive to make sure you are happy and safe, this is why our guides do a great job. I sincerely apologize for not making you feel happier on this experience.
