Thoroughly enjoyed it! The pork was truly amazing. Chief was amazing and funny. All around good time.
Not as awful as the reviews depicted it.

Great location the price was right. The customer service was excellent. The hotel is dated. If you're accustomed to staying at the Hilton, Marriot, Best Western then this is not the place for you however, it's not as bad as a Motel 6. No signs of bed bugs. We stayed for 5 days. The breakfast was not good.
Great experience!

If your going just for entertainment this luau is good, food was good everyone was very nice. If your wanting to learn something about the culture and see a show with more authenticity go to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Great activity. Our guide, Cousin Vi, was friendly and made the trip enjoyable. Once we made it to the venue, the luau was excellent. The food was good and the show was awesome. No regrets purchasing this activity.

This was FANTASTIC!!! The dances from many islands were displayed and some background into how other cultures affected the people already living here. Highly recommend this Tour.
We ate until we were tired.

The master of ceremonies was the best part. His banter was a great mix of funny and heartwarming. The food was good and there was plenty of it. We ate until we were tired!
Skimpy food choices, short show

I'd heard wonderful things about Chief's, so went there with high expectations. I've been to most of the luau's. Chief's is not beachfront, but does have a nice setting in front of an artificial waterfall at a waterpark, so it loses nothing for appeal there. "Chief" himself is funny. The main reason we wanted to try it. He was the Samoan fire knife dancer at the Polynesian Cultural Center for years, and remembered him from there. The food choices are lacking. Most times you go to the luau, the spread they put out is amazing. Not so much here. They didn't even have macaroni salad, which is almost a requirement at most luau's! Their fish offering, however, was delicious. Overall, I knocked it down a star for lack of options in food. I knocked it down another star for the length of the show. Face it. We all go to luau's for the show, and while the show was good, it was short. I think the entire show was only about an hour long. If you're going to charge that much money for a buffet that doesn't have many options, the show better be worth it. Sorry. Germaine's or Paradise Cove or Polynesian Cultural Center beats this one.
