No waitress service. Had to stand in line for almost a half an hour for drinks then had to watch the guy beside get upset becuase you ran out of pinapples and still charged $30 foe the drink. Had to line up, get my own food then catty the carsboars tray to the trash can. Nothing but a big money making cluster exploiting the local culture.

Disappointing

The show was average and seemed more focused on the Chief rather than cultural dance. The food was fair, and not kept to proper temperatures. I bought the Royal package and did not get what that package claimed it included. Maybe this was all because of COVID, but if that was the case I should have been informed or offered a discount.

Chief draws you in and makes it a personal experience not just a show. The rest of the family was awesome. Food was delicious.

Don't expect help . . .

I ordered for Friday and somehow was scheduled for Thursday. At 5PM I got a reminder on my phone, I called both the Chief's Luau people and Viator immediately to request the date be changed to Friday. They put the blame on each other, we asked who had the money?? No one seemed to know and no one was willing to help even though there were empty seats on the Friday performance. Someone made a huge profit Royal Luau $400. I will never work through Viator or schedule with Chief's luau again. Oh, and they said NO REFUND. If there had not been seats available maybe it wouldn't have been so disappointing. No one was willing to help, yet, someone kept all the money! Sad. My friend was from Macedonia and this was the highlight of her trip. Very disappointing.

It was meh! Don’t go for the food…but stay for the performance.

Food wasn’t the best…they show you a ground cooked pork but I think it’s a fake…you get more of a boiled pork(not great) the fish and chicken tastes pretty bland. The salad was just the cheap iceberg salad in a bag. The noodles were good and that’s about it. I’m a real foodie so I was severely disappointed by the quality of the food after paying over $400 for 3 tix. You get better food at joint called Icthy Butt in Waikiki…. The drinks taste yum(more like desserts) The performances were excellent and that was the best part of it all! Such talent!!!!!!!! They should just improve the menu…
