Not enough history about the castle. Lots of random items and no information. Random photos of weddings Really lacking on information inside the castle rooms. Lots of different styles of rooms and I still don't know why ? Quite well set out for covid but very tiny arrows on the ground to follow...

Very enjoyable few hours spent meandering around the grounds and castle. Would take a picnic if you’re going on a sunny day
Very rude ticket lady.
, Aug 2020
Upon arrival at the castle we were met at the ticket office by an extremely rude lady who took exception that myself and my wife had booked on line and she rudely and quite derogatory told us we shouldn’t be in that area to get tickets. The online purchase never gave any instructions and in fact informed us that we must buy tickets on line to gain admission . However, several people in front of us bought family tickets and pairs of tickets. This rude arrogant lady ruined our experience of this beautiful castle. Customer care training required for this lady.
