Meet your guide in the Financial District in Lower Manhattan for this Viator Exclusive tour. Walk down Wall Street, NYC’s famous financial district, and learn about the history of the street, from the early days of 'New Amsterdam,' when the city was a Dutch colony.
Continue to the nearby 9/11 memorial, the site of the tragic terrorist attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. Stand at the two enormous reflecting pools, the footprints of the two towers, and read the names of the victims that are etched around the pools.
Afterwards, head to the lower tip of Manhattan to catch the ferry to Liberty Island and bypass the ticket lines with reserve line access. On the short cruise, enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline and hear about the history of Lady Liberty from your guide.
On the island, explore with your own audio guide, available in nine different languages, and enjoy access to the pedestal of the statue, with views of lower Manhattan, Ellis Island, and Staten Island.
Your ticket also includes access to the Liberty Island Museum, where you can learn about the difficulties and triumphs that France and the US overcame to build this universal symbol of liberty and democracy.
At the end of the tour, opt to stay on the island or, once on the ferry, choose to hop off at Ellis Island, the gateway for 12 million immigrants.
Please note: This tour does NOT include admission to the 9/11 Museum and Statue of Liberty Crown admission.

Statue of Liberty and Memorial and even Wall Street!

Great tour! Guide was very knowledgeable, just the right amount of funny and made sure we saw everything. Because of his advice I also got the best views of the Statue of Liberty on the boat, whereas if I had followed my own idea, I wouldn’t have had the same views. It was a well-paced and succinct tour and I’m glad I chose this on my last day in New York. Tickets including access to the pedestal on the Statue which gives you some amazing views of the city and surrounding islands. Great value.
I went on the tour with my mother, her friend, and the friend’s 18 year old daughter. It was awful. She started her tour saying that New Yorkers aren’t more fashionable than everyone one else, they just fit into their pants better because of all the walking. I know the tour guide’s political opinions about Trump, the last four mayors of New York, and several other matters. All these political opinions were given freely and completely unprovoked by the group. When we got to the new World Trade Center, she spent so much time explaining how much she hates the new building that we had no time to appreciate the memorial. How dare she be that disrespectful!?! I’m not there to hear her complain about a building, I’m there to mourn. Not to mention, she did a timeline of the actual event and left out the Pentagon and flight 93. She ended her tour telling us that her boss never goes on her tours and the only way he knows how she is doing is by these reviews. I recommend he go on one of her tours.
We are very sorry this guest didn't like the guides presentation of topics. We do have a training program for guides that lets them know politics are off limits, however we spoke to the guide and she said others in the group were talking about political subjects and she felt perhaps she didn't do enough to direct them in other areas. For that we are sorry. Regarding the 9/11 Memorial. the guide didn't mention the Pentagon, simply because it was not part of what happened on the ground in NYC. Certainly, if the guests has asked about it, she would have detailed that as well.
Our guide Helena was very informative and knew her NYC history, from New Amsterdam to present. The financial district, 911 memorial and Statue of Liberty were a must for us on our trip to NYC. Glad we took this tour. Great walk even in the rain.We liked that we were taken to Battery Park for the ferry, but then were able to spend as much time as we wanted at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
Sara was a great tour guide! She was pleasant and upbeat. We started at Wall Street, then headed to 9-11 memorial. Along the way Sara told us several stories/history facts about NYC. The tour with Sara lasted about 2 hours, we ended at Battery Park where she helped us get on the boat to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. These are self guided tours, Sara doesn't go along on the last part of the tour. Be very easy to maneuver on your own. Sara kept us entertained...would definitely recommend.
