Corey was an amazing guide! He was so full of energy, information and charm! I love learning new things, and (even though I've been to the Lady before) he taught me some new things! I highly recommend this tour!
We booked a Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Tour through Viator the second week of March, 2020. This was a small group of 12 with an outstanding tour guide. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. It was a real highlight of our New York visit.
Cody was very knowledgeable and gave interesting talks. I highly recommend this tour. However I did not realize you had to have a ticket that needed to be purchased 4-6 months in advance to have access to the torch.
Everyone needs to see this piece of history. I would also recommend paying for a tour guide. Ben was our guide and was outstanding. He added so much to it and the fact he had researched his great-grandparents passage through Ellis Island was a huge +. Ben made the tour real personal and couldn’t have been more helpful. When you book this tour, ask for Ben.
This tour was so worth it! Nothing to worry about as far as lines, which boat to take, how to get into the attractions, when to arrive, when to leave, what to do, whatnot to do. All the stress was taken out of the excursion, especially for visitors who don't know NYC well. Love the Statue of Liberty Tour bus especially loved Ellis island. SO fascinating - especially seeing the hall and the different rooms, and all the photos of the immigrants. Can't believe we have never been there before. And - KUDOS to our tour guide, Mark, who was absolutely amazing. He MADE the tour what it was!! Give this man a raise! His sense of humor was just our cup of tea. He is a pseudo-historian, impressario, theatre guru, dining expert, and has a wealth of knowledge about everything New York because he loves the city! We hope to see him on Broadway sometime soon!
