Pre-book tickets to the Guggenheim to get convenient, skip-the-line access to this landmark New York City art museum, and explore at your own pace during its hours of operation.
  • Save time by pre-booking your admission to the Guggenheim Museum
  • Skip the lines and head straight inside
  • Guided tours are available every afternoon
  • Full-day admission so you can explore at your leisure
When you arrive at the museum, centrally located on New York City’s Museum Mile, skip the lines at Admissions and head straight to the Information desk. Explore the Guggenheim at your own pace, with the flexibility to enjoy the exhibits and galleries that interest you most.

As you ascend the landmark building’s grand spiral that rises toward the dome above, you’ll experience the Guggenheim’s special exhibitions, featuring celebrated artists from the 19th century through the present, in an “uninterrupted, beautiful symphony,” just as Wright intended.

To explore the Guggenheim with a museum educator, join an Art in the Round public tour each day at 2pm. Tours are free with admission, and each one focuses on a different aspect of the museum’s collection, themes, or architecture.

Is the museum a joke?
Thellie

Architecture was the experience I sought for my visit with my son and grandsons. They understood that Frank Lloyd Wright’s last joke was this building in that he showed the world that architecture was supreme to art. We enjoyed our visit. Thank you. And now you can come to Manchester NH and visit two FLW houses.

The Guggenheim building is amazing the show was not

the current show in the main rotunda of the Guggenheim isn't that interesting it's not even art and it says so it's a discussion about humans impact on the environment to the agriculture and then some of the main permanent colors for shut down for renovation as well so I would save the 25 bucks and go to the MEt next time

The Guggenheim Museum is wonderful...

The Guggenheim Museum is wonderful, and this is not why I am rating it only 2 stars. It states, Skip the Line Access, when you purchase the Vouchers. WE were not able to skip the lines. We had to stand in line, like everyone else, to get the tickets, as these are Vouchers only. We had the same situation at American Museum of Natural History.

Highly interesting, if you like modern art. So check which temporary exhibitions are shown prior to booking. With my voucher everything was ok, just change at information desk for a valid ticket and avoid waiting at cash desk.

Took my 13 year old to a few museums...

Took my 13 year old to a few museums to introduce her to art and this was her favorite. The building itself is a work of art: beautiful, inspirational and a key reason why the Guggenheim is a wonderful place. There are no confusing rooms, no getting lost and you don't feel overwhelmed at all. This allows you to focus on the art itself and it is incredible. A very special treasure.

Skip the line access rules! BUT...

Skip the line access rules! BUT, there is only one floor of classical artwork and the other SIX! 6 are Chinese modernism. IT would be better with a little more focus on regular art and not so much emphasis on Chinese modernism. Maybe 3 floors Chinese and 4 full time is more appropriate. Had I know this, I would have skipped the interior altogether, as the Frank Lloyd Wright building itself, is a sight to behold. VERY DISAPPOINTING and not at all what I expected. Will DEFINITELY check what is to be exhibited for future art museum pursuits.

The gallery located at the south end...

The gallery located at the south end of the High Line. Exterior and interior building design more impressive than the photos suggest. During our visit a lot of space over several floors was devoted to the work of Chinese artists and experimental art post 1989, so there was a limited display of the more traditional artists such as Kandinsky and Jackson Pollack, which was disappointing. Wasted money on the jump-the-line vouchers as we had to join the main queue to collect our tickets. Not our best experience in NYC. If your time is short, go to the Met and the MOMA.
