Make your way to Trinity Church, where this two-hour tour begins, close to New York attractions and public transport. Learn how Hamilton arrived in America just before the Revolution, then quickly gained influence in the young country, and visit Zuccotti Park, the onetime site of Occupy Wall Street.

Trace Hamilton’s career through his role as the first Secretary of the United States’ treasury, and find out how it gave birth to the New York Stock Exchange. Look across the street to Federal Hall, where Hamilton saw George Washington sworn in as the nation’s first president.

Take in a pair of Wall Street skyscrapers that recall the deadly rivalry between Hamilton and Aaron Burr—including one that’s emblazoned with the name of Donald Trump.

This tour concludes at one of the oldest bars in New York City, where Alexander Hamilton used to drink with George Washington, and where you can raise a glass to the Founding Fathers.

Thank you, Alex, for showing me the world of Hamilton on my birthday!! You were so knowledgeable and funny. Despite the fact that I'm a native New Yorker, I learned SO MUCH from you!! The other historical aspects of NYC (the old walls under Goldman Sachs) was fascinating. The Hamilton / Washington cutouts in the window of Fraunces Tavern was hilarious!! Thanks again!

Alex was not only very personable but enthusiastic and knowledgeable as well. It was a pleasure to spend two plus hours with him exploring Hamilton’s New York. Although we were both long-time residents of the City, my spouse and I learned a lot of interesting things.

My 11 year old twins and I learned alot on this tour. Though we are New Yorkers, we saw parts of Downtown we haven't seen before. After hearing all the Hamilton musical songs in my house for months, I was also surprised that there was more Hamilton information provided on the tour than I had been bombarded with at home. This tour was also a good Christmas gift that took up no space in our apartment.

A Fun Learning Experience with Josh
Marianne_T
, Feb 2020
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Josh to Hamilton's haunts. He really was thorough and amusing as he lead us through the financial district with many interesting facts and stories about the history of the area during Hamilton's time to the present day. He was extremely helpful in getting everyone on the their way when the tour was finished too. We highly recommend touring with Josh. You will learn a lot in a friendly, casual way.
