The Worst Cruise Ever!
, Oct 2021
This was the complete opposite of what we expected and it was completely dangerous. Barely anyone was wearing a mask and the servers were not wearing masks or gloves. People were way to close to us. We found this to be such a horrible experience that we took an Uber home. The tour guide said it would cost $150 and I just didn’t care. It turned out to be a lot less. We want a full and total refund and Circle Line really needs to review their policies during a pandemic. It was a totally miserable experience for us.
An OK trip to bear mountain
, Oct 2021
The hike was a nice surprise. The breakfast sandwich was not made with real eggs and the burgers at the concession stand was edible but not good even with some hot sauce. The Inn had no restaurant available for the hikers unless you are a guest. The boat ride was great we enjoyed the live music and learned a bit of history.

Fun trip. Nice reprieve...
, Sep 2021
Fun trip. Nice reprieve from the city. Goodies view of NYC's landmarks from the Intrepid at 42nd street up to Riverside Drive. Lovely view up the center of the Hudson Rover. Lots to do at Bear Mountain: Hiking, picnics, canoeing, the zoo and inn. Lovely day.

Nice day to cruise

With a good narrator, 5 hours went by fast. It was a day well spent with my spouse & family. they observe distancing. Enough variety for food.
We didn’t get to bear mountain

It was torrential downpours but the company still had the cruise happen. At no point was it discussed that there would be a chance we couldn’t get off at bear mountain- until we passed bear mountain and they said the tide was too high. Because the cruise was booked as a full day cruise we continued along the water- I passed my apartment twice and was dreaming of getting off the boat!! 9 hours on a boat with little kids was just not fun. The staff on the boat was super wonderful and accommodating. Super disappointed with this experience. I could have flown to Hawaii in that amount of time- I feel like 9 hours of my life were sucked away from me.

Fun day and excellent crews and security.
, Oct 2019
Both couples had a great time talking and taking pictures. The entertainers played the passengers sang along. Everyone was courteous with one another.
Get sloshed while taking a history lesson
, Oct 2019
We loved it. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and taught us a lot of interesting history about the Hudson River. The scenery was stunning. The beer kept flowing, oh my God! The hike from where the boat docked at Bear Mountain to the lake was okay. The only restaurant was at the local inn was horrible. Do not order the buffet, major disappointment. The grounds at the inn were very nice and relaxing. The lake was beautiful. Will go on this cruise again.
Not enough time at the park
, Oct 2019
The ride up was beautiful! But we did not have enough time to hike to the observation point and back to the boat in time. We saw the boat leave but luckily there is a bus that goes to Port Authority, seems like they only take cash. The receptionist at the Inn was very helpful. Good cruise but wish there was more time at the park. It’s back to driving ourselves 😆
