Guarantee a spot on this popular cruise by booking a ticket in advance. Choose a morning or afternoon start time and head to Toulouse Street in the French Quarter to board the beautiful riverboat. The historic vessel particularly appeals to boat enthusiasts and history buffs, who can linger over the vintage decor.

Stroll the deck as the riverboat begins its cruise along the Mississippi River. Then, find a seat in the cabin or outside, where you can admire unobstructed views of the striking ‘Crescent City’ shoreline and enjoy live jazz music. Learn some riverside history as you pass sites like the Chalmette Battlefield, where the famous pirate and privateer Jean Lafitte teamed with Andrew Jackson to defeat British invaders in the Battle of New Orleans.

Purchase an optional tableside lunch to sample an array of sumptuous Louisiana fare, from cornmeal-crusted fish and red beans and rice to Natchez’s signature bread pudding and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea are included with your lunch, or you may purchase adult beverages.

Your river cruise ends back at the departure point in New Orleans with plenty of time to sightsee!

  • "If it is a misty/drizzly day, get in line early to find a seat inside or in a covered area." See review
  • "If traveling with young children, you may want to take noise-cancelling earphones, as the horn that sounds upon leaving port, re-entering, or passing another boat is very loud, jolting, and prolonged." See review

Overall it was good... did not do the food. Wish it could have been a longer ride. The band on board was very good. Played Dixie land jazz. Very informative information about sites along the River.

Enjoyed the information. Staff was very friendly. I recommend buying tickets straight from the boat not using a third party

Booked this tour for myself and my grand daughter. Impressed when we walked onboard. We went to the lower deck to be seated for brunch. Our waitress came and got our drink order. Brought our drinks then she never checked on us again or brought any of our food. Other waitress’s were serving their guest that came in long after us. A waitress that was taking good care of her guest noticed us and thanks to her we eventually got our food. By the time we got done we only had about 30 min to explore the boat and enjoy the beautiful weather on the Mississippi. Would be willing to give this another try but would probably skip the food so we could see and here what all the sites are.

Ticketing process was long and understaffed. Smoking on the boat both cigarettes and cigars was prevalent. Several people including us had to move seats to get away from the smell. Narration and band were very good. It was clean.

Nice experience. Myself and my children really enjoyed it. It was their first time on a ship but it definitely won’t be their last.

This was such a nice added touch to our weekend stay. The boat was beautiful, the live jazz music was great, and the captain was friendly and informative. The food was all AMAZING and the servers were all so kind as well. Definitely a must do if you're in the area.
