We got an uber from the hotel which dropped us off at the cemetery. That is not where our tour guide wanted us found out later he wanted us two blocks away. My husband has a hard time w/ walking called and they insisted us to go two block away to turn around and walk two blocks back then walk the cemetery. We decided that we was just going to call an uber and have them take us back to Hotel. Tour guide called and I explained he didn't act to upset. Maybe next time we will have to try it again.

Hello, I was at the cemetery yesterday at 11:05 AM, and it was locked, and there was no one there. I had to double check the location because the tour guides usually send emails with the information but I didn’t get anything. Turns out the location we had to meet up was a corner three blocks away, so when we got there people already left. We also didn’t find a telephone number to contact anyone at the time.

Do not go on this tour until the Mayor of New Orleans re-opens cemeteries! The guide was nice and knowledge, but he only walked us around the area and showed us pictures. We only peaked through the gate at the cemetery. This should have been specified while booking.

This tour is advertised as touring Cemetery 1 and instead you see cemetery 2. Quite misleading given everything it says you will see since that doesn’t happen.

Trish was a fantastic tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and is really chill/easy going...just follow the cemetery rules. Take her advice...If you go in the afternoon, grab a couple happy hour drinks at the gathering place and use the restrooms before you start the tour. Trish is also knows the area quote well, so if you have questions on where to go to next, just ask. :).

Our guide, Milton Bienvenu, is a local, full of knowledge, great stories, and history. We learned all about this beautiful, historic cemetery & even got to see the tomb of Marie Laveau! The cemetery is gorgeous & was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to New Orleans--merci, Monsieur Bienvenu!
