The details of the Duomo are highlighted on this tour. One can appreciate the detail put into building this structure. The visit also highlights the ongoing restoration needed to keep this building intact.

Great views, up and personal with the spires

We did not have to wait long for the elevators, although they have very limited capacity, 4 or 5 people. Once you get up there, you are free to walk and take pictures to your heart's content, and we certainly did. Well worth the experience.

Wonderful Attraction but Ticket Confusion
Elena N
, Nov 2019
The Milan Rooftop access ticket did actually get us access. However, when we went to the ticket booth where we were directed to exchange our Viator ticket for the Milan Cathedral Rooftop ticket, the guide directed us to go across the street to a ticket office. At the ticket office, several persons examined our ticket and did not seem to know what to do with it. Finally an older gentleman came over, initialed our ticket and directed us to the access line. The folks in the access line seemed okay with the gentleman's initials on the viator ticket so we obtained access. So everything turned out okay but from the initial confusion, I thought we might not be able to use our Viator ticket. However one buys tickets, wear sneakers or comfortable shoes with good grip.(sneakers) Have fun!

Great time up on the roof of the cathedral, lovely scenery and didn’t feel rushed at all. Easy booking and queue wasn’t too long.

Our tickets didn’t scan
Monica F

My friend and I waited over 45 minutes on the line to get up to the rooftop. When we went to the self-service scan, the tickets did not scan. There were 2 security guards and 1 manager, who was extremely rude and condescending. After yelling at me in front of people, he scanned us in and we went up to the rooftop. This was a terrible experience, if the tickets would have scanned, we would have never had to engage with this rude individual.

Great Time!

I had to change my ticket to another day and this company gave me no problem. The Duomo itself was incredible. I walked up the steps to the rooftop because I could absolutely use the exercise and it wasn't too strenuous for someone who exercises moderately. The views from the rooftop were extraordinary! I would definitely use this company again.

What tour?

We waited for over an hour and checked with the ticket office and other people working at the Milan Cathedral. No one could help us find our tour leader. After talking to viator, we found out that it wasn't a tour but just a ticket. Too bad no one at the attraction knew that or that the information on the website or ticket stated that you needed to trade it in for a ticket. Unclear advertising.
