Returns to original departure point
This walking food tour begins in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure.

Visit family-owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors—favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch.

This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at Havana Classic Cigar. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho.

The tour concludes back at the original departure point.

Fun Day in Little Havana

My wife and I particularly enjoyed meeting and chatting with Robyn, our tour guide. She went out of her way to give us a great tour through Little Havana, and pointing out additional things to do if we came back (which we did the following day). Her enthusiasm and humor were contagious - a sharp contrast to, for example, cruise ship shore excursion guides. For example, she gave us some of her personal Cuban recipes, and showed us how to make sweet Cuban coffee. Like most tourist places Little Havana was quite expensive, but the price of this tour seemed quite reasonable, especially in view of the show Robyn put on for us.

First time doing a walking tour. It was very educational. The guide was passionate about her job. Which of course grabbed your attention as she was explaining the significance of the food we were eating. It was a comfortable and relaxing experience. I recommend this tour 100%!
