After pickup at your downtown Mendoza hotel, ride to Termas de Cachueta. Settle into a state of deep relaxation before you even hit the thermal pools while enjoying views of the looming Andes and the sound of the Mendoza River rushing nearby.

On arrival, enjoy mountain terraces featuring glimmering thermal pools of fresh, naturally heated water. Take full advantage of all of the facilities during your daylong stay, including whirlpools, a hydrotherapy thermal circuit, foot baths, and bubble beds. Inhale the bracing mountain air as you climb into hot, warm, or cold baths. Experience Argentina's only grotto sauna, letting the heat and mud detoxify your body and soften your skin.

The natural solarium features Scottish- and Finnish-style showers for you to rinse off before eating lunch at a regional Creole buffet typically including vegetarian fare, a salad bar, barbecue pork and chicken, lamb, sausages, and grilled vegetables. Drink plenty of locally sourced mountain spring water to stay hydrated during your thermal circuit, or purchase additional beverages off the spa menu.

Spa day spoiled
, Mar 2020
I would not travel with this tour company again. We were 4 Americans (2 of us speak some Spanish) in a van of mostly Brazilian tourists. First, the van arrived 35 minutes after the specified meeting time of 8:45am. Then, about halfway to the spa, the van developed a flat tire. After about an hour of sitting at the side of the highway (the driver did not keep the group informed, didn’t speak English or try to let us know anything) another van came to take us to the spa. When we arrived, we were told we would be staying an extra hour to make up for the inconvenience. No one asked us if we wanted to stay longer, they just told us. For us, it meant getting back to our apartment and rushing to our dinner reservation instead of having a relaxing evening. When we left at 5:30pm, the bus took us 20 min out of the way to look at a view of the reservoir, which wasn’t mentioned in my reservation. Then, the driver told me he would take us home first, but instead we were last. (Didn’t like Americans?) So it was after 7pm when we arrived back. Can get this excursion from many other companies so would recommend skipping this one with Tangol agency.

Dear Carole, We are very sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. The transfer was confirmed between 8:45AM to 9:30AM, as it is a regular transfer, there are other passengers who are taking the same vehicle. For this reason, passengers must wait at the hotel reception. In case you need a specific pick-up time, we have private transfers services. We apologize if it wasn't clear enough. On the other hand, the inconvenience suffered with the vehicle, fortunately you were able to continue and arrive at the Spa. We wanted to compensate for what happened in the morning by extending the excursion a little more. Unfortunately, the resort were not notified of your plans in the evening as you could have returned with another available vehicle. We tried to do our best to compensate the inconvenience, we are regretful that our assistance didn't meet your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it helps us to improve our services. Kind regards, Tangol Travel Agency
Relaxing day at Chacheuta

Great day at Cacheuta!! Staff is outstanding; the area is beautiful; the pool and water are relaxing and nice. Lunch was very good. Highly recommended. Visited it after a hiking day at the mountains. Perfect!
Pretty, but bad staff
, Feb 2020
The rating would of been higher if the staff were not so rude. It also took half an hour to pay the drinks bill at lunch which seems a crazy long time to me.

Fabulous day

I had a wonderful day at Termas! It is even more beautiful than the pictures! I went on a Saturday and at no point did the place feel crowded. Many times I had a pool all to myself. There were so many pools at different temperatures, a mud area, lots of lounge chairs, and fresh fruit available. The lunch buffet was huge with lots of veggie options and a long wine list. There was a secure area for changing and leaving your stuff. My only issue was the car was 30 mins late picking me up and my name was not on the guys list but he called a few people and it was okay. I am not sure why this happened but thought I would mention it. Overall, I highly recommend this for your visit.
Great day out

We chose to go on Christmas Day which was perfect after lots of walking and sightseeing. There are a selection of pools of different temperatures and the self-applied mud mask (included) leaves your skin feeling super soft. There’s a lovely view of the mountains and it wasn’t as busy as I had feared it would be. The lunch buffet was very good. Lots of options for meat and veggie eaters. Good red wine too.

What a lovely place to build a thermal spa. Lunch buffet was awesome. There are a variety of options, from indoor to outdoor, and complimentary fruits and water. It's definitely a worth the trip. However, see the negatives below: A full day trip for this is way too long. Optimally, you should be good with just a half day at the most. Pick up from the hotel is around 9 am and it takes about an hour to get to the spa. Once you get to the spa, you can sign up for spa treatments, but looks like the hotel guests gets priority over people that arrives via tour. The lunch is around 1 pm and there are no food or drink option outside of the spa.

Dear traveler! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! The spa is located outside of Mendoza, and we must remember that this tour is regular, so they must pick up other passengers that is the reason why the transfer takes longer than expected. In the Spa, no preference is given to one or another passenger. For us and the Spa all our clients are important, only that they are different protocols and it is usually organized in a comfortable way for both the team and the passengers. I hope you enjoyed the facilities, and we appreciate your time in writing this review as it helps us to improve our services.

This is a great trip to see the country side and to experience the local thermal spa. A beautiful series of hot pools for bathing, mud for coating yourself, and relaxing lounges. There is an option for a relaxing massage, at an extra cost. I suggest you take it!! Lunch is enormous and reasonable. Drinks, alcoholic and water all cost extra, so make sure you take some Pesos. Be aware that only a few of the staff speak English, but if you ask they will find someone.

Loved the views from the pools. Lots of pools to choose from, including a regular outdoor swimming pool. The lunch was magnificent. A buffet, which is usually an awful experience. But here, it was gourmet all the way! Loved it for a change of pace form all the wine tasting tours!
