Great museum
, Mar 2020
I loved the way the organizer started with a short film explaining the history of the studio, the artists and producers. Then we exited to the museum filled with images and artifacts of the artists and owners of this establishment. I hope they continue to educate the next generation on this historic musical era.

The museum was a refreshing piece of history. It was enlightening and well crafted. I loved seeing the cohesion between artists during an era of racial chaos.

A Perfect Birthday!
, Jun 2019
I had no idea what I wanted to do for my birthday June 8th. I googled African American museums close to my homestate Louisiana. Stax caught my eye. The entire experience was amazing. I was emotional at times as well knowing how some of the famous passed away. I will definitely return to the Stax Musuem and the Civil Rights musuem also. C
