Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Get an overview of Memphis to find out what to visit later on your own.
This tour begins with a hotel pickup in downtown Memphis. Begin on Beale Street, voted the most iconic street in America by USA Today. Beale Street runs from the Mississippi River to East Street, nearly two miles of blues clubs and restaurants that make it one of the top tourist attractions in Memphis.

Drive through Victorian Village, a historic neighborhood with homes that were built in the 1800s. Pass by the statues of B.B. King and Elvis Presley as well as the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Hotel, where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated.

Stop at A. Schwab, a Memphis institution that sells all things Memphis—from regional arts and crafts, to dry goods, magic potions, candies, books, magazines and more—and the Peabody Memphis, a landmark, 13-story downtown hotel.

Pass by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; and the Memphis Pyramid, now a Bass Pro Shops “megastore” with shopping, a hotel, restaurants, a bowling alley, and an archery range.

A Memphis hotel pickup and drop-off are included on this tour.

Upgrade to include a leisurely boat cruise along the Mississippi River aboard a paddlewheel boat. Listen to interesting anecdotes from your captain about Memphis and its history.

Our driver Sam, did an awesome job! He gave us so much history and information during the tour. He was also very friendly and professional. We enjoyed the trip very much.
I would do the trip again.

Michelle was very informative, and made the trip very worth the money. the only problem was the walk to the boat for the trip, very long and hard for people with disabilities. Was not informed of the walk.

Great Tour and Guide
, Jun 2020
Great Tour! This tour provides a good overview of the city’s main attractions without feeling rushed. Pick up at the hotel was prompt. Our tour guide, Michelle, was incredible. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She made the tour both informative and fun. I highly recommend both the tour and Michelle as a tour guide.
So many facts
, Mar 2020
This was a really interesting city tour. There were just 4 of us on the bus due to the corona virus fears. I was pleased Sam was our driver/guide since I had read good reviews of him. How does he remember all this stuff? There was so much information I feel I have to do it again just so I can absorb it all. He was considerate and slowed down for the many rough spots in the road. He told us where to park for the Sun Studio tour which we did later on our own. All told, a great city tour.
Good tour

The tour was good but because of the coronavirus we was unable to stop at the St. Judes Children’s Hospital, but overall it was good.

I'm glad you enjoyed the tour but because of this pandemic St. Jude has halted all tour buses from the hospital for 60 days to protect the kids. Thanks for understanding.
