After morning hotel pickup in Melbourne, travel to the Mornington Peninsula along a scenic road for about one hour.

Your first stop takes in the modern vineyard at Paringa Estate, where they grow pinot noir, chardonnay, shiraz and pinot gris grapes. Their award-winning wines have earned recognition in Australia, Europe and Asia.

Next up, learn about the elegant table wines of Polperro Winery; perhaps check out the trattoria in addition to the wines at T’Gallant Winemaker; take in the grapes and fruit orchards at Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove; and visit Red Hill Estate, which has volcanic soil that creates fine textured wines.

Relax over a 2-course lunch at Max’s Restaurant, a local favorite with spectacular views of Western Port Bay. After lunch, taste a variety of fresh cheeses at Main Ridge Dairy, then visit the shop or pick strawberries (November to April) at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm.

Heading back to Melbourne, stop into a chocolate factory in the village of Flinders to sample handcrafted chocolates and other sweet treats. Your tour ends with drop-off at your Melbourne hotel in the evening.

First, you will visit the modern vineyard Paringa Estate, where grapes of sorts such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Gris are grown. The wine produced here is the holder of many awards and prizes, acquired in the international competitions, and earned recognition not only in Australia but also in Europe and Asia.

The next stop will be T’Gallant, specialising in growing the sort Pinot Gris (Pinot Grigio). In recent years, the products of this winery have repeatedly received prestigious awards and prizes and are high in the world rankings of wineries. You can enjoy a tasting of the best works of local winemakers and optionally visit the trattoria, where you can eat a simple and delicious Italian meal. Another winery, which opened to the public in 2002 — Montalto. In addition to the extensive vineyards, you can see olive groves and orchards, which grow apples, pears, quinces, figs, persimmon, avocado, citrus and berry fields with raspberries and cranberries. From the resulting harvest, four varieties of olive oil, chutneys, preserves, jams and much more are produced. All products of local organic produce can be bought in the shop at the winery.

Finishing your familiarisation with the winery region of the Mornington Peninsula you will visit the winery Red Hill Estate. Vines growing on the volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the local hills breathe in the sea air, result in finely textured elegant wines. The highest quality Red Hill Estate products have become a brand of Victoria’s cool climate. You can try leading sorts of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Shiraz here.

Main Ridge Dairy — a farm for the production of cheese and milk products from goat’s milk. During the tastings, you will enjoy an assortment and variety of cheeses. In the local farmer’s shop, you can buy not only cheese and milk products but also refreshments and a range of local souvenirs.

Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm
From November to April anyone can come and pick for themselves a whole basket of sweet berries. During the return drive to Melbourne, you will visit the chocolate factory, located in the village of Flinders. Here you will discover, how the most delicious Australian chocolates and lollies are produced by hand, and in the local cafe. You will be offered a rich choice of not only chocolate and lollies but desserts and ice cream
