Overall fun experience

Great staff, very clean and helpful. Amazing lunch with plenty of leftovers for those who needed more. Didn’t see as many fish or turtles as expected but the staff made it an enjoyable experience regardless.
Molokini Snorkling

Our Molokini snorkeling was cut short instead of 2 hrs of snorkeling it was only 30 mins due to an emergency a woman was drowning! Everyone was instructed to go back to the boat! I think it’s protocol!

Great customer service. Wonderful and professional crew. They were super helpful and organized. Amazing time.
Highlight of our Maui Trip!

Amazing tour! We took this snorkeling tour with Pacific Whale Foundation and absolutely enjoyed the experience. The water at Molokini Crater is crystal clear and it is a treat to snorkel there. The second site we visited was Turtle Town and even though this site does not have as clear waters as at Molokini, we saw plenty of Turtles there and is totally worth the time! The crew was really passionate and helpful. Do not hesitate to book this tour even if you cannot swim - there is enough guidance, floating aids and supervision to make one feel safe. I would recommend taking the water suits that are provided at additional rental cost as they do really help. Finally, the breakfast and lunch service was brilliant as were the drinks! Don't forget to try the POG juice. Highly recommend this tour.
1st time snorkeling

It was a wonderful trip. My first time snorkeling and it was a great time. Only down side was the assigned seating we were stuck inside and could not enjoy the views. But overall great experience.
Terrible Seating Protocols, if not Lucky Ones, but Nice Snorkeling at Crater
, May 2021
The reason this tour gets a 3 is because of the snorkeling at the crater. The snorkeling at the crater was awesome, however, you can pay less to get there. The crew was nice enough while on the trip and the food was good, but really the terrible method of seating quite frankly put a damper on it. The crew assigns seats “randomly” and those unfortunate enough to get the inside are left staring at nothing but wetsuits, cloudy glass windows, and walls for the entire boat ride there and back. Meanwhile presumably paying the same price as everyone else for a subpar experience. The tour proceeds with the tour guides pointing out all the awesome features of the surroundings - none of which can be seen of course from the inside of the boat. For example, on a good day they say you can see all 5 islands - if you aren’t jammed underneath that is. Also the crew lets you know to keep an eye out for the turtles - apparently only if you are randomly selected for that opportunity, however, as you can’t see anything while sitting underneath. You are requested not to leave your area as the boat travels, so theoretically you’re just supposed to enjoy the hours of ocean travel while staring at the walls and wetsuits, meanwhile others are enjoying the nice ocean air and fabulous views. After asking for a refund, if this was seriously what they intended, they gave us a seat at the back of the boat. Slightly better than the inside, but not without its issues - such as the upper deck draining into where you are sitting, motor noise with limited ability to hear the tour, being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the crew, and your limited sight distance of the surrounding islands and ocean. My suggestion is to either not assign seats and let everyone enjoy the views or disclose it up front and have selected seating with discounts if you are going to make people sit underneath. I would never pay this much for an inside view of a boat. Part of why I paid a higher price was for the experience of a boat ride to the crater and back.

Wonderful staff made for wonderful experience

The passionate and helpful staff ensured a truly wonderful experience. It was neat to learn from them about the ocean, sea life, and Hawai’i. On top of that, the service was exceptional. We will be recommending this in the future to people we know traveling to Maui.
