I took my 28 year old son on this trip. It was an easy hike for him as he is very fit but it was a little harder for old mom. Our guide, Lahcen zin, from a nearby village was excellent and very flexible when I needed a slower pace. He also offered a shorter route, carried my backpack and helped in anyway possible. Our cook (I forgot his name) accompanied us with his mule and gear and prepared tasty meals which included plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and always delicious tea. We stayed in a Gite, or guest house in an idealic Berber village and since it was February, the night was quite cold but we each had 2 warm blankets and slept very well. The views of the snowy mountains, villages and goat herds were spectacular. It was wonderful to get away from the busy city life for a few days. For clothes, I wore jeans, a shirt, and a light jacket on the hike and had a sweater for night I brought changes of socks and underwear. My favorite parts were seeing the faraway Berber village, and learning about the Berber culture by asking questions of Lahcen. This trip was the highlight of our Moroccan trip. I wish Lahcen the best on his upcoming marriage!

Everything was great from the hikes, the views, to the discovery of the authentic Berber villages. Accommodation was basic but ok, and part of the experience. A special thanks to Abdul (amazing guide) and Jamaal (exceptional cook), they both took perfect care of us.

Un immense merci à Abderahim et Jamal (et Jacqueline !) pour ces trois jours géniaux ! Malgré le froid du à la saison, nous avons passé un moment inoubliable. Le parcours du trek est assez intense (en distance parcourue) mais les paysages sont magnifiques et variés. Abderahim et Jamal étaient à nos petits soins, ils nous ont appris et montré plein de choses ! Les repas étaient délicieux également ! Pour les trek en hiver, chaussures de rando et vêtements chauds indispensables ! Merci encore pour cette expérience de folie !

Wir können diese Tour sehr empfehlen. Mustafa, unser Wanderführer, hat uns sehr gut über die 4 Pässe geführt, war immer freundlich, gesprächig und am Austausch interessiert. Hassan begleitete uns mit seinem Muli und kochte hervorragende Mahlzeiten für uns. Wir wurden toll versorgt. Die Unterkünfte waren einfach, aber sehr schön, sogar mit Dusche. Wir hatten unser eigenes Zimmer und schliefen hervorragend. Der Service war wie beschrieben und landschaftlich und auch kulturell haben wir einen intensiven Eindruck gewonnen. Da wir nur für ausreichend Wasser sorgen mussten das konnten wir bei den Unterkünften kaufen, brauchten wir nicht viel Gepäck. Und das wenige wurde auf den Muli gepackt.
