Awesome experience

Ali the guide was very accommodating and he asked very the comfort level on waking and took us route which required little bit of hike but it really showed what we all wanted to see the rustic lifestyle in atlas mountain. Our package include lunch, the restaurant selected was very good and Tagine was awesome !!! On way back we had to catch a flight so Ali worked with driver and we were dropped first and we were in time.

This tour didn’t go as advertised. We were supposed to start in the desert, for the camel ride, but ended up riding a camel at some parking lot. Disappointing to say the least. I’ve read reviews about the interaction of the tour guides, not so much from this one. I’d def do more research before booking this kind of tour.
Not exactly what we hoped for but pretty nice!

If I had the opportunity I would give this trip 3,5 stars but unfortunately I have to rate it with 3. I have to clarify that we enjoyed our experience but it wasn't clear enough that we would only have 30-40' to the desert and we thought that this excursion would be more dedicated to Desert Agafay than to the Valleys, due to the lack of information on the itinerary. Our guide was very kind and he provided with more than enough information about the local people and the villages. We made plenty of stops and we were hiking in the valleys and reached the waterfalls. We weren't prepared for so much walking through the valleys but we enjoyed it anyway as the landscape was very beautiful. The meals offered are a very thoughtful gesture and are worth the money. I have to point out 3 things: 1) Wear comfortable shoes as you have to cross some distance walking and you have to be well prepared 2) The road is pretty tiring so if you get nauseous you maybe want to consider taking a pill 3) The Desert part isn't as exciting as it sounds because the stop is at an isolated spot and in my opinion not a very nice one. The camels didn't seem very well and a lot of them were not happy at all with the walk as the desert is rocky and the camels' feet are more suitable for sand than rocks. I felt very sorry for them because I thought they were in pain. Overall I enjoyed the experience in the valleys and getting to see the women making the argan oil and walking through the traditional villages to the waterfalls, but that's not what I signed for as the excursion gives the impression that is more dedicated to the desert, which I didn't enjoy so much. If you are not so sensitive about the camels then I believe that you'll enjoy the trip more.

Having a great time

The pickup was terrible and not good communicated. On the site they said that you will pickup at your hotel or Riad. But it's not true. We book two time and both time we never pickup at our Riad and we had to go outside meetingpoint. On the pickup day they call the manger from our Riad and he told us to wait in the Mosquée Berrima. We wait but nobody came and we decide to call. Later we find out that we are at the wrong meeting point. The manager said that they are coming to pickup us. We don't understand why they not call us because we leave our mobile number behind on the booking site. So the pickup was not arrange very well. Despite they said that they pickup you up at your place where you staying . So, pay attention at the pickup time and location. The tour was great. The guide was nice and told us information about the place where we go. Nice to see the camel and ride on it. The waterfall was not big but nice to see. We had a great time. !
Great 1 day trip from Marrakech!

The organisation of the trip was perfect, the pick up in time. Ismail and Chawi were really nice guides/drivers!! first we've been driving through the stone desert of agafay and had 2 stops for photos. then we drank tea at the camel ride house and spent 30min on the camels in the desert which was the highlight of the tour. for lunch we went to a berber's house where on 2 levels several touristic groups were served lunch. afterwards we did a 30min hike to a waterfall. after another 30min drive we went to a cooperative for argain oil where we drank again some tea. at 6pm we returned home. i think for the price it is a really good tour which of course is touristic but the best option when you want to experience something out of marrakech in 1day trip!!
Very nice trip

A must do tour while you are in Marrakesh. Hamza has been a great guide with a great knowledge. Very patient and he never rushed us thru. He also brought us to his own berber house and served us tea. We met his little brother and his mum 😁 a nice trek in the mountains, great food served on a roof top with breath taking views. We finished with a camel ride at the edge of the the desert which was an excellent and unique experience. Thank you Hamza for your hospitality ☺️👍
